^ I can't believe that you don't know the difference between 'street art' and 'vandalism', so that leaves just 2 other options.

Let's face it. The whole modern art establishment is built on very rocky ground. It's all based on palaver and boosterism. The value of modern art is not founded on anything but the dishonest feeding the gullible rich and the institutions.
Art is art because the modern panjandrums of the art world say it is. And for some reason they only say it of those who have been through the art establishment's accepted course for being an artist.
Time and time again from the famous Bruno Hat hoax of the 20s until today, people have shown up the idiocy of the modern art establishment by creating fake modern art.

RERESIDENTS are being urged to take home a "graffiti cleaning kit" to wipe vandalism from the streets.
It comes as people call for graffiti hotspots, including one outside a west Hull primary school, to be cleaned up by Hull City Council.
John Robinson, a governor at Thoresby Primary School, says he is sick of looking at a "tag", or signature, scrawled on to the wall of an empty house in Hardwick Street months ago.
He believes the problem is getting worse, with graffiti popping up in Chanterlands Avenue, Tennyson Avenue, Cave Street, off Beverley Road, and Beech Grove, off Princes Avenue.
Now, people are being urged to take home a graffiti cleaning kit from Hull City Council to get rid of the problem themselves.
This Duchess has to look at incomprehensible nonsense which some self-indulgent wanker likes to call "art" at the Turner Contemporary gallery at Margate

Two German men have been sentenced to three strokes of a cane and nine months in jail in Singapore for vandalism and trespassing.
Andreas Von Knorre and Elton Hinz pleaded guilty to entering a train depot and spraying graffiti on a train.
Singapore has strict laws on vandalism, and has caned and jailed foreigners in the past for the offence.
These include a Swiss national in 2010 and US teenager Michael Fay whose 1994 caning sparked global controversy.
Von Knorre, 22, and Hinz, 21, had flown into Singapore from Australia in November last year and vandalised a train during their stay.
They left the country afterwards and were eventually arrested in Kuala Lumpur in neighbouring Malaysia.
Both men expressed remorse in court, and called their acts "a stupid mistake".
Oh God, some of the attitudes present in this thread are outright depressing. I don't wanna imagine what you guys are like at parties.
...Usually a lot of the stuff I see that isn't commissioned is appreciated you--usually painted on abandoned areas, not specifically people's property.
Wankers should express themselves by spray-painting their own property or painting their own flesh.
In my country fly tipping is a form of vandalism too.
