Stuck on the road - what would you do?

What I would do depends on the situation. If I felt reasonably safe in offering help, then I would. If I didn't feel safe, I'd keep going. Someone's looks would have nothing to with whether or not I'd help them.

If someone was that good looking, they wouldn't touch me with 20 pole to begin with, so why bother on that account. The blond in that video is a prime example. I may have helped her, but not for a chance to flirt. The younger the person involved, the less inclined I'd be to help. I have a distrust of youth.

Many break downs have been staged in order to lure people into a robbery.
That's why truckers, once know as being the "white knights of the road", seldom stop to help now. You just can't afford to take that chance in this day and age. You get scammed, robbed, and your truck or cargo stolen, and you'll probably be fired too.

I have stopped and helped people, but it was a pretty obvious situation of need. If it wasn't so obvious, I don't stop. I'm not the worlds most trusting person. I'm very skeptical of people in general.

no lie, i would do exactly what i did back in 2007 or 08 when my bro and me were heading to canada and these two old motorcyclists were riding hogs passed us and everybody else speeding down the I90 happened to crash while in a heavy rain downpour. there were like 9 cars and 20 people that stopped to helped them out. one of them was injured and the other guy was nowhere to be found. my bro and me just drove past like nothing happened. it's not that we didn't feel bad for them but it was one of those situations where, not trying to be cold hearted or mean, as long as it's not us, we don't care. that was fucked up but still, i'm not crashing my bro's car just for to save those two dudes. hell no.

I've had mixed experience giving and receiving and NOT giving and receiving help on the road.
…Would you help? Would it depend on the person having the problem?…
Yes, it depends on the particular time and place BUT I wouldn't give much credence to this particular show.

Google tells me it's a 'reality show' made by the same people who make those other 'reality shows' Dancing with the stars, Celebrity Wife Swap and The Bachelor.

They have a script, actors and a limitless budget to shoot video film day after day until they trap a participant who does something that fits in to their chosen agenda. :(

I'll always stop, even if I'm in a hurry. I've been there, in need of help and nobody is there, so I'll offer my help whenever I can. Do unto others, I always believe. I never take pay when people offer, I just tell them to pay it forward. You never really know how much a nice gesture can make a difference.

^ Oh excellent; can you send me your phone number in a private message? Just in case for the next time I'm in your area.
