Stuffed Animals

I have a few ... three that I keep on my chest of drawers. One is a teddy bear that a dear friend gave me (that's a story in itself, but I'll tell that later), and two that I got at Disneyworld. I was there last November on a free trip my employer gave me as an award, and -- being there among hundreds of other award winners and their spouses/children, but evidently being the only gay one -- I was feeling very much like I didn't belong. I was from another planet.

So I bought myself a Tigger. Rum tum tigger, I'm the only one, and that's good! Tigger loves himself, loves life, is proud of being unique, and I decided to follow suit. I bought Tigger a little Mickey Mouse that nestles with Tigger, kind of like peas in a pod. Anytime I get to feeling like I don't belong, I look at Tigger and take pride in myself and my uniqueness.

My boyfriend went to Build-a-Bear and got me a blond curly bear dressed in clothes like he would wear. He told me to take it with me on my flights, just in case I get lonely. Alright its corny, but it was sweet. I love him.
