The pictures of Epke in the OP are a few years old. He was probably around 20 when those were taken.

(And I remember when we were not allowed to comment on the appearance of the athletes in the sports forum. I used to get moderated for that all the time.)

I often read sentences about 'sexy boys' that make me cringe because of differences in languages. In most European languages, the words, garçon, chico, Junge can be used for a 25yo while homme, hombre, Mann is rarely used until after that, unless in the context of weddings or crime. Wheras in English, you can call a 14yo a young man more easily than a 19yo a boy.

So when foreigners talk about boys, they often mean the hairier, more muscular variety.

I just wanted to make that clear to those of you who are not so fluently this planet's lingua franca: Broken English :)
