Stupid or Funny responses to your coming out...

Comming out to my jounger brother (second non-gay person I ever told):

We both worked on the same office at that time and we where there doing some cach-up.

Me (very nervous): Hmmm... there is something I have to tell you. There is no easy way, so here it goes. I'm gay.

Brother: not even raising his eyes from the work he is doing. OK!

<insert uncorfortable (for me) silence here>

Me: So "ok", that's it?

Brother: Yup

Me: Hold on!! Did you already know? How did you know?

Brother: Do you remember when I had to use your computer to do that homework (that was about 2 years before).... well, hidden folders aren't really hidded !!

Needless to say, he was talking about a folder where I used to keep my gay porn !!!

Another good one: Me comming out to my best (and very straight) friend while we where working out in a half packed gym:

(I had been looking for an ocassion to tell him, so when the oportunity arrised)

He: Check out that girl! She is gorgeous!!
Me: Well, I wouldn't know...
He: How come?
Me: Well... turns out that I'm gay
he: WHAT!!! You cann't just come and tell people something like that !! What if they react with violence? What if they gay-bach you?!!! ... and so on .... (He was trully concern about my safety).

I just love him for reacting like that ..|

What a great brother. Congrats.

My Dad is cool with it. He's the only person in my immediate family that I've told. I told a couple close friends and got the same reaction.

Although, I did get a pretty surprising response after telling a (female) friend from high school: "Me too!"
