Perhaps I'm being a bit too picky, but I find people who use incorrect spellings to be a total turn-off. I'm not talking about people who spell the occasional word wrong, but those individuals that spell almost everything wrong.

"Accept your misteaks..." is the one that stands out the most. I'm not sure if he was being ironic, or just incapable of spelling. Unfortunately, I think it was the latter. When 'okay' is spelled "okey", it just makes me cringe for some reason.

On top of spelling mistakes, is the CAPS Lock that some people can't seem to escape from. When I'm on MSN, I don't want to feel like I'm being yelled at. The worst of course is: "ACCEPT YOUR MISTEAKS..."

Emoticons are fine by me usually. The ones that annoy me are the ones where they've actually replaced a word. When I see an 'ok' that takes up six or seven lines, has eyes and is blinking at me, I'm not typically impressed.

I don't mind all lower case letters, it seems friendly rather than oppressive when compared to using CAPS. But in total, I figure I'm probably a bit too judgmental for my own good. But is it too much to ask for correct spelling?
