They are prepping their 5th album, maybe with a US release. They are a pop trio from Britain, who have had two replacements in their 7 year history.

Keisha, Amelle (who replaced Mutya in 2005) and Heidi (who replaced Siobhan in 2001)

I heard on the grapevine that Amelle wasn't getting along with the other girls in the group (mainly Keisha, who allegedly forced both siobhan and Mutya to leave) due to being a complete cow to them both.

I like the joke someone said about the sugababes: My younger sister is thinking of joing the sugababes for her gap year.

the sugababes have lost it since Mutys left...she was the band..its like beyonce leaving destinys child or Bono leaving U2 if u want a good album buy Mutya's debut album...'Real girl' it rocks

Taller In More Ways is my favorite album. Mutya was great, but I like Amelle more.

It's so sad that she left like that, and now she is estranged or whatever. But I like her album a lot too.

Siobhan left because she didn't get along with Keisha. She also battled depression during her time in the band. She left during a promotional tour in Asia. Contrary to urban legend, she didn't leave the band by excusing herself to the restroom and never returning.

Mutya left because she felt she couldn't devote enough of her time to the band and care for her daughter at the same time. She still wanted to make music, but wanted it to be just her career on the line and not Keisha and Heidi's as well.

According to the band, the rumors about Amelle not getting along with the other two and that she's being forced out of the band and whatnot are completely untrue. They say the band is stronger than ever and they're all great friends and really excited about finally starting the next chapter of the band with Amelle.

Yea, it's a shame about Siobhan and Mutya but I think Amelle is the real deal. I can't wait for the new album. Their new style is great.
