Two bombs were detonated in the Swedish capital, Stockholm injuring two people and killing the attacker.
The first bomb was detonated when an Audi 80 Avant exploded in central Stockholm. Twelve minutes later, a man - police suspect him to be Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly, a Swedish-Iraqi - carrying six pipe bombs detonated himself in a nearby neighborhood. Luckily, only one of the pipes actually exploded leading to no fatalities in this first suicide attack on Nordic Soil.
Prior to the attacks, an e-mail threat was sent to the Swedish Security Service and the Swedish News Agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå (TT) naming the Swedish military presence in Afghanistan and the controversy over the recently published offensive cartoons by Swedish artist Lars Vilks as the main reasons for a call of "Jihad" all over Europe. Sound recordings accompanied the email, both in Swedish and in Arabic.

Yet another country falling into the circle. When will this stop? Why does Sweden, or the UK before it, or the US before that allow such people to live in their territories?
Why do they grant political asylum to members of the Muslim Brotherhood who are expelled from their native countries? Or to hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis and many other nationalities that do not fit it neither socially nor politically.
Do they really need this to prove to the world how good and "open minded" they are? Does this really classify under "Freedom of Speech"?
I know that this is a lash back against the many errors the governments of the Western World - led by the glorious government of the United States of America - have committed but it doesn't mean they should take in every extremist, every expatriate expelled on grounds of "Freedom of Speech".
Enough. Save your countries. If stopping wars is too difficult, at least change your immigration policies.
