Summers suck when you're fat and too poor to use the air conditioning all day*...

I was kinda hungry until I read your post...

Back in my poverty days, keeping cool meant box fans in the windows and lots of cheap diet soda. But then again, we don't get much humidity here.

You have to move to Northern Wisconsin. It's a whole 48 degrees today :(

We all have our problems, but that is more information than I really need.

I would have thought the stifling heat and sweat would have motivated to get rid of the excess lard

Stop eating bread, pasta, rice, junk food of any type. No soda, booze in moderation is ok. If you do eat bread, pasta or rice, make sure it isn't white, i.e. whole grains. But best to cut it out of your diet as much as possible.

LOL just be thankful I didn't come up with dinglebananas.

Actually this works with just about any image. For instance, you can be sure that nobody wants dinglespinach either.

Dingleberries are the least of our problems.

Maybe you should starting washing your fat stinky arse with water.

Dinglespinach! I think I just about died laughing...this thread somehow just went from bleaurghhh to epic.

:rotflmao: The shock value of this thread was immense. I got a good laugh out of your misfortune, AWP (sorry).

It was a solid 12 degrees in Melbourne yesterday, it's around 15 today.

In summer, if it's over 30 degrees, I turn the air conditioner on. I pay for my internet and board, my parents do the rest :)

The worst part is just after this thread is the Ass Munchers thread on appreciating rimming.

That's some hard advice to follow but I'll try. I don't eat that much bread, rice, and junk food, but pasta and soda are two of the most common things I eat/drink. I have been drinking lots of water since I started working out recently though. I'll lay off the soda and switch to whole grain pasta and see what happens. Thanks for the advice. :)

I think he might've been talking about white rice, which has a lot of flour in it if I'm not mistaken. Flour is unhealthy and fattening from what I've heard.

basically the difference between white and whole grain products is that the white stuff (bread, pasta, rice, etc) has a high glycemic index, which means it gives you a quick burst of energy and not a slow burning source of energy - you don't spend all this energy you get from the white stuff that breaks down quickly, and you get hungry faster as well. Brown rice, whole grain bread and whole grain pasta have a low glycemic index, breaking down slowly and giving you energy for a while and keeping you full longer/keeping your calorie intake lower.

So basically the key to losing weight is the calorie count - reduce your calorie intake by 500 cals a day from the cal intake you need to maintain your weight, and you will lose a pound a week. Consuming whole grain products makes this goal easier because they have more nutritional value for the calories they pack and and keep you full and energized longer so you eat less!
