I find it ironic that the porn companies are threatening to sue us over using their pictures here and yet some of their sites steal pictures of us and use them freely. I've found pix of me all over the net used without my permission but because I dont have the porn company $$$ there really isnt a damn thing I can do about it.

I guess we are now severely limited to to topics we can start in a forum because what good is talking about something if you cant show what/who it is we are talking about.

The truth is probably stranger than fiction when it comes to WHY this is happening?

Could it be that it was NOT at all the so-called porn makers who were actually the ones putting pressure on Phil to 'protect' their copyrighted material? I think the real culprits -- once the truth be known -- is that it was probably some of DudesNude.com's cash-hording (or should I say - cache-whoring) competitors who have ratted on DN in order to try to destroy it as provider one of the most popular 'free' and 'amatuer' porn-alternative.
We are talking about MAJOR bucks here - so other strictly commerical would NOT sit by idly and let almost 'free' sites,such as Dudenude and JUB commandeer such large an audience (and thousands of suscribing customers) and thus deny themselves a potential income worth 100Ks of $. So they had to do something (and this is the second cannon shot across the bow - so to speak - the first was not even a year ago when DN was almost coerced into shutting down ALL 'obscene' photos because of the threat that the US Attorney General was looking to prosecute such 'abuses'. It think this is another similar and ineffectual attempt by the right wingers.
Tribes.net had a similar attack on it late last year that threatened to their owners and caused them to warn users about any 'obscene' materials -- not even mentioning the copyright laws.
One difference I see may be the Dudesnude operates outside the US and thus the webmaster/owner would not be prosecutable under US anti-obscenity laws. However, copyright law are international accords -- so a UK web host/site administrator MIGHT be able to be threatend and thus coerced to 'curb' the level of involvement of people from the BUSA (Bush US America).


It's somewhat like how the major cell phone and landline companies tried ot 'trash, crash and burn' the IP telephony services for so long -- finally Skype was one that got enough customers (and enought clout) to hang on and even succeed enormously.
Perhaps the same thing may happen in the venues of 'free public' discourse on sex and sexually stimulating pics and discussion. Either it will not work or we can just resolve ourselves to the bushification of all nation states.
It is a bit surprising that the webmaster (owner) of Dudesnude.com has so easily been intimidated by whatever veiled or voiced legal threats that he has been hearing. I've already mentioned the possible teeth in the threat from international copyright laws -- since US obscentity laws are not binding in the UK (and other nations).
For another thing - there is an enormous difference between simply borrowing copyrighted material -- such as posting it along with one's comment and the blatant using of copyrighted material for one's own profit or personal gain. The Supreme Court of the US will probably be called on to make that distinction sometime this year.
But my own prediction, will be that something like this: If it IS illegal to use in any form or manner copyrighted material (even when such use is NOT by any means for one's business or personal profit), then you are violated ALL copyright laws and deserve the strictist of punishments when you sing a song or hum a tune you've heard on the radio or on a CD that you've purchased. When you answer questions that are TOO close to the original textbook material, then you are impinging on the author's copyright and deserve to be imprisoned. Copyright laws are to protect the creators (or owners) financial investments and to protect of their rights to receive monetary reimuneration for commerical use of the materials. The private use of such materials has yet to be clearly and unambiguously defined.
I am sickened and disheartened by the 'new' moral stance - -it's rather like the Patriot Act of copyright protection - but -- at the same time -- as bushism makes inroads in the various sectors of our lives, there will eventually be a backlash that will invoke a reasoned and less self-righteous and monetary self-serving public consciousness which will counteract these acts of barbaric puritanism.

I find the sexual preference for certain races and how gay/bi/str8 men interact sexually across races or before their races/ethnic or mixed origins to be both fascinating and perplexing.

Having lived for many years in Japan - as both a straight married father and, at the same time, often moonlighting there and elsewhere in the world as a single gay male MUP (middle-aged urban professional), I have encountered all races and ethnicities of males (and all people) - socially and sexually.
I 've also experienced being an absolute racial minority - such as in Japan or Cambodia or Thailand - where whites make up far less than a tiny fraction of a percent of the general population. Of course, tourists are a bit different story.
But was of course in the once mostly-white racial majority of the US -- growing up in the South -- Georgia, Tenn, KY.

I love men of all races (attracted to them is what I mean)- but it's on a case by case, personal level -that is the real test of the attraction. I can be categorical in defining my likes or preferences but it does not always bear out in actually meeting a specific person.
So why even talk about people (men) at racial entities? I don't have answer - just at least I've thought about it some and still think it's worth reflecting on - because it's kind of key to comprehending the human condition and your own part it shaping its continuing evolution.

Think of cetaceans - many people should know what they are but it's a word rarely used in daily conversation and is probably unknown by many when used out of context. We don't ever say - the Chinese, long-nosed saltwater porpoise - we just call them either -whales or dolphins (one single group more specific but not as discriminating as the racial names we give ethnic groups - kind of like grouping all 'humans' into three big categories (African, Asian and European) or Easterners and Westerners -- what about the billions that are somewhere outside those too broad divisions.
You can sometimes hear people say (to their friends who know them very well) -- "Oh I met this guy who was really hot..."
But in our more formal, public discourse with strangers or just work colleagues, family members etc. "Oh I met this Japanese guy who was ..." or "Oh I met this black dude who was like so..." Each of these utterances shows different levels of ethnist attitudes (I don't call it really racism because there isn't much evidence that the person speaking is a racist or even prejudiced or discriminatory (in a bad sense) - they are just discriminiting or differentiating for the sake of the listener and what 'think' will communicate more effectively or clearly to the person that are talking to. Our social register determines somewhat what 'attitudes' we conceal or reveal. The problem with today's online and telecommunication media-based communication enviroment is that we often don't have a clue what social register to use in such a publically open style. Sorry if I'm lecturing - you don't have to read this and probably won't even make it this far -- unless you are interested.

If we're talking about comparing physical attractiveness of one ethnic/racial group over another -- it's really a personal preference but so shaped by our own common social values that we really actually don't have much choice in the matter.

That being said, I've come to admire and be physically and pyscho-sexually stimulated not only by all kinds of men because of their ethnicity - not just their skin color or physical traits (features, endowments). Each ethnic group has behavioral (body language, facial expressions, fashion, the way the move and use their bodies/limbs) and rather unique (to that group) social responses in how they move, react, interact that are quite different and also just as appealing (not exactly in a sexual way - that's fetishism carried to an extreme).

I have said it before (here on JUB) and elsewhere - this is one of the most amazing benefits about living in a place like Hawaii; and there are many and a growing number of places where the ethnicities/races/cultures/subcultures can mix freely and also retain their cultural identity -- at the same time as being part of a humanity-respecting society of diversity (and cetacean-respecting environment too).

But there are also equally threatening social evils (?) that haven't been clearly recognized as being problems - ethnism (prejudice or discrimination against culture groups or subgroups linked to racial or ethnic identity). It sort of what was talked about earlier about why some ethnic cultures view white Americans as the top of the heap - it's a form of 'ethnist' thinking that non-whites accept or even adopt without thinking ..
Raising the human consciousness is a never ending climb up the psycho-evolutionary ladder - - well, at least until cloning and robot intelligence achieve post-scientific levels (I call it x-sci-fi jidai (era 'Japanese term' that George Lucas loosely borrowed to name his Jedai knights and 'bushido'-like culture of the Force).
I'm sure I've lost a few people by now because the length of this post alone ... LOL... but I am just talking about the inevitable evolution of human nature and human form and human sexuality .... In a few years (100 or 200 years from now) there won't be that many racially identifiable individuals anyway...
More will be pan-racial in origin and multi-ethnic, multi-cultural by then.. so how long shall we keep discussing this???

4) If it's the reverse you get in first but see that he was wanting to shower/use the bath too (he's got his shower gear etc). 7) Another way to so pretend to be mistaken about a friend's room number. If you travelling to Tokyo or stopping over for a day or two, it offers a wide variety of cultural, culinary, and entertainment highlights. The savvy gay traveller will do doubt want to know where to participate in Tokyo's gay life.

You can find the basic information on Tokyo's gay urban area, - Shinjuku Ni-chome, where many of the gay meeting, hookup spots, and business are located the Utopia Asia site:

I think it's pretty well up-to-date. There are further links to the sauna/sex-clubs if you're wanting to get down and dirty. I sometimes go to Shinjuku's 24-Kaikan gay men's sauna (#3 on the map below). You can reach Ni-chome (2-chome) from JR Shinjuku Station (east exit ) and walk east along Shinuku Street about 10 minutes). Or you can take the underground to Shinjuku 3-chome (San-chome) (subway exits are shown on the map). N-chome is not where everything is located however.
24-Kaikan, probably the best gay men's sauna, has several branch locations, but the Shinjuku one has the greater variety of men - probably because it's located in a gay-friendly neighborhood. You can see if there are other listings or recommendations. I reviewed Dobermann - another cruising box - not far from Shinjuku just off Okubo-dori). I prefer the men's saunas because their bigger, have more men, and you can bath/shower/relax.

When to go?

It's busiest on Saturday and Sundays (and holidays - although there are any in June). Friday nights are not too bad especially once the bars close; week nights can be hit and miss. Some guys drop off for a quickie 'sauna or shag' right after work. 24-Kaikan is also has private guest rooms so people stay overnight and like to get randy all night and into the morning. Most guys get a locker since there are a TV lounge (no porno), group (dorm-style) rooms, shower/saunas, and mat rooms.

There is a time limit for locker users but it's either 8 or 12 hours, but you do have to pay extra (hourly) if you overstay. If you want to do an all nighter, visit the bars on Friday night (they don't get crowded until 10 or later). Boy, do I mean crowded (in some the smaller ones, there is no room to walk, except squeezing thru), then go the 24-Kaikan (2600 yen ) after the bars close if you don't meet (or if you do, he might suggest it since it's cheaper than a hotel - although less private). The trains aren't running after 1pm and the subways shut down before that.

Hiking, camping, and all kinds of outdoor recreation (especially nude) make up my favorite kind of vacation (and leisure time), but finding people (gay men) who do these at the same level, intensity and frequency that you (or I do) is usually a localized process. Not everybody has the same amount of time, stamina, self-discpline, etc or even the same purpose for doing these kinds of activities: physical exercise, self-growth, meditation, socializing, naturalist (ecology), photography, camaraderie, sexual behavior like courting a partner or just getting sex, spiritual communing with nature and other people... the reasons are nearly endless - although I find it perfectly great and by no means at cross-purposes to do ONR (Outdoor Nature (or Naked / Nude - if you're like me) Recreation) for ALL of the above reasons - but some people don't see it that way.

There are many groups for ONR all over the world but they are local - localized to the cultural context and also localized (by language and by who's committed to them or who's leading them and how they accept of seek out new members). Check out the area where you'll be going (or where you live) to try to find them. For example, there is a fairly large (and evidently growing) set of different hiking (many times nude hiking) in the Palm Springs area. Oahu (Hawaii) has the LikeHike group, and the list goes on. Often the nudist groups (FKK, gay men's groups, etc) can give you leads or help you find people and organized events in the local areas.

It takes some research (on the Net or by asking here on DN or other sites, such a gayoutdoors.com) to find groups (or individuals) but there are 'outdoor' recreation (hiking, climbing, etc) group of people and also gay recreation groups almost everywhere that anybody does these activities. I'd be interested in helping to organize such ONR events or outdoors excursions, but again the arrangements have to be 'located' somewhere.. and we here on DN -- as is true for most any gay ( homophilic) web site come from all over the world. Still... it's nice to share the experiences about trying to find others who take outdoor recreation (with other like-minded men) as something both fun and seriously worthwhile and beneficial.
Your best bet is to find partners and trips is to look at Gayoutdoors.com and see what kind of events/hiking expeditions are being organized. It's mainly oriented to North America but not only. Another idea would get Phil (the Dudesnude webmaster) to add new categories to the search and profiles. And he might also add a new forum categories for Recreation and Sports. (including Nudism and Outdoor Recreation). It might have the added merit of getting more paying contributors. You can search for existing ones or even start your own at other well-known and well-developed sites gay social networking sites. I find I spend more time on Flickr or Tribe.net or Justusboys.com because their audiences are larger (potentially) and the efforts at communicating are not lost in a random pile of unrelated thread (like this message will be). MySpace, Gaywatch, Dlist and other sites just don't seem to engender good group communication for 'rounding' up men who share a passion for outdoor recreation (hiking, camping, climbing, snorkeling/diving, etc).

Because there is a stable (although complex) orbit of the Moon around the Earth (currently 28 days - but it used to be only 20 days), it stabilizes our axis (causing our seasons regularly -- this stability (lack of random chaos) was ONE of the important factors leading to just the right environmental conditions for the evolution of life on the Planet Earth....... Sounds like Discovery Channel - well it's not but I've fallen in love with the MOON and not that sweet neighbor's boys ass either.

Back to the topic that is already way off topic...

The level of testosterone seem to be highest in the morning (for most men - but there is NO absolute standard and all men are different - unique in their own hormone balances).

That explains some of the reason you (or I ) might feel horny and wake up with erection -- obviously the subconscious dream sleep may also play havoc with our bodily functions in relation to these hormones.

Once I hit American hwys in mid August - I am GONE in 60 seconds... driving in Japan is such boring pain... that I just love travelling hundreds of miles at a stretch once I get to Kentucky / Tenn and the Carolinas. I think nothing of a 500 mile trip - my parents live just north of Nashville.

One new and happy development here.. we are getting a MATE for our dog. She's another Toy Manchester Terrier and she going to arrive on Sunday. They are keeping her at the pet shop to finish her vet check and to complete her shots. She' just a 40 day old puppy.

We've been looking (not to seriously) for a few years -- it's incredibly expensive to get a puppy of this breed (about $2000 for a female) and much more for a champion male (which is what our first dog is). He's getting to be eight years old so if he's going to have offspring it's now or never.
He's an incredibly smart dog and belongs to an animal talent agency so he's been on TV several times,
we're hoping to have a side career (animal (dog) handler for TV, movies, and print ads) when their puppies are growing up and being trained.

Finding a bitch (dog talk - not human speech ) for a TMT is not easy - especially in Japan and there is not guarantee that things will work out with breeding), but we're getting this puppy so she can grow up with her future husband.

Our dog is named Batistuta (named after the Argentine soccer player who made Italy what it is today - not exactly). But he did a lot more than David Beckham is probably going to do for the US soccer pro league (although I hope his coming to LA has a great effect on the popularity of the sports in the US).
I'm NOT a team sport guy - I just think soccer has a many social benefits since it's NOT a rich kids or upper middle class-only game like some team (and individual) sports.

I had some great CMNM (Clothed Male Naked Male) experiences during my month of vacation travel in August 2007. They really aren't ones that would have much graphic or explicit content or anything like that... but they were certainly meaningful because I was able to make some great connections with people. For me, it's not enough just to be naked in front of strangers - that's easy enough to accomplish at a nudist beach, locker room, or clothing optional resort, etc.

I find it increasingly important to me if I can develop some kind of interaction - social - not even sexual with the guys I am nude with. I realize that this probrably says a lot about the nature of my own reasons or motivation for seeking out CMNM situations. I should eventually delve into that - I suppose. For me it not simply whether or not the guy is showing any interest in seeing my nude body or me his. It's much more satisfying when the clothed person and I (or if I'm clothed and he's nude) are engaging in either doing something together or conversing about mutal interests while one of us is nude.

Here is just a quick glimpse at my summer episodes... (as much for my own recall as for your entertainment ):

a) I stayed several weeks on the Big Island (Hawaii) so I had a chance to camp, go to a clothing optional resort, and get nude on a couple of beaches

b) I stayed at a hostel (same one as before) and had a wonderful time getting to know my bunkmates and people from adjoining rooms. There were quite a few opportunities to be naked or be clothed with naked during that 5-day stay. One of the most fun things was 6 of us going skinnydipping at Waikiki Beach after midnight (2 women and one guy remained clothed, 3 guys got naked). I had spent the whole time just dying to see those other two hunks in the nude so it was really cool being accepted in the camaraderie of guys being guys and getting to skinnydip with them in the end.
c) I meet up the next week with oneof the guys who stayed in that same hostel dorm room (he didn't go skinnydipping) but his bunk was just across from mine (both on the top) so I had an uninterrupted view of him sleeping and also he had the same of me - I sleep nude every night of course. I loved watching him put his hand down his pants and play with or 'straighten' his cock (supposedly while asleep). d) I stayed in Manhattan at the West Side Y and had quite a few chances to be naked with strangers. Guests can use the pool, gym and lockerrooms just like paid members. On my return trip thru NYC, I stayed at another hostel and also scouted out a few more where I might return on my next trip. I also spent several evenings at the West Side Club.

f) One of the times I almost forgot about was really one of the coolest CNMN experiences I had for a long while. I stayed over in Waikiki over 6 days (at the hostel I mentioned earlier). It's advertised as clothing optional - although I'd never seen anybody go naked on this cruise before (it was the 2nd time to take the cruise since they have advertized it as 'nude cruise.' It seems that actualy boat operator and captain aren't really kept informed (at least they plead ignorance). I asked my hostel roommates if they wanted to come along but the macho-man guy from the Netherlands was negative about it, saying he didn't want to go on any gay cruise - but - of course, it seemed he never missed an opportunity to get naked. I am sure all would have had a great time if they had gone. I certainly did.

Previously cruises were very tame, but this time I simply was not going to be denied the chance to get naked in public in front of so many people. As we were boarding, I asked some of the guys if they were going to get naked later on. Nobody seemed eager but there were any flat denials either. So .... when we got further out in the bay about 500 yards from shore, I asked the captain - a local Hawaiian guy, if it OK if I got naked. He said he was told about that before - but I explained that the cruise was advertised that way and that I wouldn't be obscene or do anything to attract attention from other boats. So he consented. I was the only one to get nude and there were a few women and also a group of 5 young Black doctors from Wash D.C. in town for a medical convention. I sat with a very big local guy but he didn't get naked but seemed to enjoy having me do so. The two young ship's mates on board took furtive looks but they were nonchalant about having a naked haole dude on board. Later on we got back closer to shore nearly the end of the cruise, I pulled on my trunks and then we asked about being able to stop for a swim so the captain agreed. It would have been great to have been naked - all of us jumping off of the boat and then remerging up the gangway between the two large rudder fins of the catamaran. It may not be a big deal as far as flashing goes, but it's still a great thing to be nude and enjoying the surf and sand -Skinnydipping at San Onofre (see pic at right) -- that's the whole point of skinnydipping. I try to do that all summer long and whenever I can any time. I love getting out to Black's Beach in San Diego, Baker Beach in San Francisco, Russian River at Guerneville (CA) and San Onofre State Beach (just south of Orange County (CA) on I-5 (one hour north of San Diego). I had fun there in Feb-March and met up with one of my flasher buddies from the Net. (See his photo at left below).

Of course, it's more thrilling to try to get naked (with or without the swimming) at the pool, or jacuzzi, or the beach or anywhere that nudity isn't expected.

I used to teach at a school (K-12) that had a pool. Since I had a key to the locker room (with access to the pool), I would sometimes go late at night and swim naked in the pool. I found out later on that one of male teacher had done the same but got caught and in trouble. Eventually, they beefed up security and put a stop to all late night swimming (changed locks).

Somtimes, it's possible to get naked in a hotel pool or jacuzzi when not many people are around. At other times, I've tried going completely naked from my tent to the campground toilet / shower - at night of course - while camping. Have stripped and gone skinny dipping at many places - public parks, state and national parks - Yosemite has some (cold water freezes your balls!) great places for that. The Big Island (actually part of all the islands of Hawaii) have many beaches where it's possible to skinnydip without offending others. Waipio Valley - out from Honokaa in the northeastern area of the Big Island has a great place where people frequently (spontaneously - not a regular practice and probably frowned on since there are

tourists (from the US mainland - Bible-belters) but once you descend the steep road downt the valley entrance (on foot - of course), you can cross the fresh water river that flows into the ocean, and go to the northern (deserted) stretch of the beach. I've seen many people get naked there (including me and friends) for skinnydipping. People can just see tiny figures bobbing around from their lookout point at the time.

Of course, my all-time favorite place to skinnydip is Kehena Black Sand's Beach on Hawaii's Puna coast. It's not just about showing your goodies on a nude beach. It's a marvelous place where nature's splendour, the chance to swim with dolphins and see whales, mix with the convivial atmosphere of the local tradition of a hippie holiday romp on the beach - complete with all sorts of naked and semi-clothed characters - all of whom are welcoming, tolerant, and often buzzed. ​

(Laupahoehoe Point, north of Hilo, Big Island)​

Everyone has a 'favorite' island but it really depends on what you like doing (or not - i.e. just chilling - as was noted earlier) and how long you have to stay in the various islands. If it's your first visit to Hawaii (hopefully not the last), you should probably start by visiting Oahu - since you get the full course - the night life, gay bars and gay baths/sauna (only one is Max's Gym), nice beaches (but crowded), shopping / restaurants, history (Pearl Harbor), good public transportation( thebus.org) . There are public buses to Pearl Harbor and the North Shore (so renting a car is a luxury not a necessity). Nudity is prohibited on Diamond Head Beach (below the Light House - but some people do it anyway)

If you want to meet people, I recommend the Waikiki hostels, for example Beachside Hostel is just around the corner from Hula's. Shared rooms make the trip if you are alone or even couples) more interesting.

Queen Kapiolani Hotel, athe east end of Waikiki is right across from the Zoo on Kapahulu Ave; it is old but there are plenty of renovated rooms, (although not great views - why would you want to stay in your room to see the views anyway?), and it's one of the cheaper full-service hotels accommodations just a half block from Waikiki Beach and next door to Hula's.

My other recommendation for a more adventurous Hawaiian trip would be to start in Honolulu (or end up there for a few days - for example, a weekend), but spend 3-5 days travelling around the Big Island. You will need a rental car - while it's just a luxury on Oahu.

There are B&B, hotels, and condo, as well as camping (by permit), snorkelling or diving with manta rays (Kona), or spend the days at Kohala beaches, drive around North Kohala (Hawi - for good food and artwork / hand crafted objects), head through Waimea (cowboy country), and go hiking down Waipio Valley at Honoka'a, visit the historic old town of Hilo, spend a couple of nights at Kalani Oceanside Resort (room, cottage or camping) or Absolute Paradise B & B, having time to visit Kehena Black Sand Beach, and the warm tidal ponds,

and also the Hawaii Volcanoes National Parks (night views of lava flows can be thrilling), then complete circling the island, heading south to around Na'alehu and back to Kona from the south or alternatively go back thru Hilo and take the Saddle Road (Hwy 200) over the plateau between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa peaks (snow sometimes cover them in Dec-Feb, don't worry but you aren't driving in it at this altitude - although there is skiiing up higher). The diving in Kona-Kailua and in Kohala is fantastic. ​
