"Sup" is a verb meaning "to consume a meal." It is related to the word "supper."

"Sup" is not, nor shall it ever be, a question.

That is all.

I presume that 'Wazzup' also does not ring your door-chimes?

I suppose you'd reject "Wazzup, dude" in favour of "What is the matter, my fine fellow."

;) (just teasing)

What's with the word y'all? You know, just two words pushed together. Why stop there? Your new poodle could be your noodle. And fried chicken, could be fricken.

oooh

Just having fun with y'all.

Actually, just having a reaction to opening 4 emails in a row from 4 different people which all started the same way: "Sup?"

(No thanks; I've already eaten.)

"Sup" when used as a question is not a derivative of "supper". It's slang that evolved from "what's up" and therefore it is a question.

Do note that "y'all" is actually singular.
The plural is "all y'all".
So you would tell your friend, "Y'all want a drink?"
But you would tell your friends, "All y'all want drinks?"

>>>Please define "wazaaaaaap."

wazaaaaaap (interj) - Buy our crappy beer.

Ya, "sup" is probably the most annoying of all the new sayings.
Hopefully it will die soon, you don't reallyhear it as much as you use to.

And this from a guy who uses "4" instead of "for" in his name?

You have a point.

As soon as I start using "4" in place of the word "for" in everyday communication, it'll become a good point.

4nic8, str8 boi. Hott! Annoying, eh?
