Today's Update:

New item = Smart Bomb

This game is just so full of crazyness... but aparently they think what we've got so far is not enough. Here's a new explosive item. The Smart bomb. Remember them?

Yup! Those massive multi-hit bombs from Starfox are now Brawl items.

Oh yeah, you can get hurt too. So make sure you run away from the explosion.

This time around explosive items may fail. So don't think you can be all cheap and stuff like u were in Melee.

BTW Training mode is back. And now u can have three dummies to beat up.

Color Change

Ok, before u say anything just check these out!

This time each character will have 6 different pallete swaps/costumes. Some have a very specific themes like Fire Mario, Dark Link or Fusion Suit Samus. Me likes!

Ok I already said I want to see Miis being used one way or another. If they cant be playable they should at least be either assist trophies... or they could be like part of the crowd in a dedicated stage like in Wii Sports Boxing... heck, why not have a Wii Sports Boxing stage while we are at it? Would make perfet sense

Oh and definitely there should be a Mario Galaxy themed stage. With crazy spinning planets and stuff like that.

Oh can u believe Im not done with MP3 yet? I kinda neglected it for a while... I mean I not that much into FPS games to begin with... so I'll go back to it when Im done with galaxy... asuming I dont get another game in the meantime. (Which is less likely cuz there's MANY games I want to get for Wii)

I'm at 65 stars on galaxy and I finished mp3 a while ago. I'm working on finishing Zak and Wiki and galaxy. DBZ3 comes out on the 3rd so that replaces my brawl purchase. There are other games that I wont bur not enough tome to play. Still Feb 10 can't come soon enough.

Yea...I should be done with Tenkaichi 3 by the time brawl comes out...and by done...I mean ready for a new game lol. I can't wait 4 dbz tho...who wants to play with me? ^_^

They said you can shake the Wii remote for smash attacks if you use the wiimote+nunchuck method, but you can turn this on or off.

Also you can save your control settings in the wii remote so you can use them at a friend's house.

So as a summary to play this game you can use the Wimote by itself, Wiimote+Nunchuck, Classic controller or Gamecube Controller... you can set each move to any button you wish, the settings will attach themselves to your name, which you can save so anytime you pick it you'll use those settings, or transfer them to a Wiimote to use them anywhere you like...

When it comes to controls, there's no excuses to dislike them! Its all up to you!

I never really use that function. But really I mean, when was the last time u could save anything in a controller? (No memory paks count)

The thing is that when Wario become Wario Man you don't actually launch a super move or anything, you just keep controlling Wario-man as a regular character... but the diference is that he has different kind of moves... Aparently stronger moves or something. And also he can fly.

I liked the event mode in Melee so its good to have it back. I hope there are more events too.

Yeah I was wondering when they were gonna anounce returning stages cuz not only they did it for Melee, but also its something Nintendo seems to like doing lately like they did on Mario Kart DS and will do on Mario Kart Wii.

Today's Update

The Battle for the Smash Ball

As we all know, when the Smash Ball appears it will start flying around. People must attack it until it "breaks". The person that breaks it will earn the power to perform their Final Smash.

What's up with this though? If there's a considerable point difference during a match, the loser will earn a 'Pity Final Smash' power when they return to the field.

This kinda reminds me of the fact that when you play Mario Kart you only get good items such as the Starman if you are far behind. You can use this to ur advantage to catch up with the rest, or at least for a lil taste of revenge.


As a second update for today, a new track was revealed. It belongs to a game called X, released in Japan only for the Gameboy. I have no idea about this game, but this track sounds nice fo sure, and has a neat retro feel.

However once u hit someone with it ull see he's actually rock hard!

Eh, my friends and I hate The Temple. Looks like another level we'll have to avoid (though we usually just play on random).

I am a little intriqued by the Bonsly update. Does this mean that there are going to be more interactable pokemon, or just the one?

But otherwise the updates have been pretty lean. I've heard that Famitsu is going to be releasing the character roster on Dec. 15th (probably just the starters) but hopefully after that we can get one or two more character updates before the release.
