You know, I dont complain about the updates because we might as well NOT get any updates at all. The fact that every day they have been shown lil things about a game months before its release is awesome enough for me.

See, it's funny because if we didn't get updates, I wouldn't care about this game at all. I'd forget about it and then pick it up when the release comes around. Unfortunately, now I'm hooked, which was Sakurai's intention anyway. Not that I mind because I like it and think it's fun. This update however might as well not have existed at all seeing how it's even more useless than "You must recover".

Meta Knight

It's Meta Knight, whose introduction was delayed for some reason. He's Kirby's...rival?

Despite being almost all head, his mask and cape exude coolness. He overwhelms enemies with his mach-speed sword!

I'm not expecting to use him that much. Unless he has a cool Final Smash.

Today's Updates:

New Stage: Pokémon Stadium 2

The Pokémon anime has showed us that the battlefield will adapt to a certain element, which might be of benefit (or not) of the competing Pokémon and their respective trainers. This concept was shown on the Pokémon Stadium stage in Melee with a stage that would morph into a water, grass or fire theme field every so often.

This one looks just like the one in Melee, but now it will transform into Flying, Electric, Ground and Ice fields. Unlike before though, the changes are not just cosmetic. For example, the Ice stage makes the ground slippery. The Flying stage makes everybody jump higher and so on.

Noticed the Dugtrio? Guest Pokémon will appear in the background as well.

I'll assume that if it says Pokemon Stadium "2" its cuz they will put the one from Melee as well. No? *crosses fingers*. If they do they should also give it modifiers.

Mario's Down Special: FLUDD

The water jetpack thingy from Mario Sunshine has become Mario's new down special move. Hold down B to charge it and then release its water stream.

You'll have to learn to use it to push people far away, as it does not cause damage!

Mario's old down special, Mario Tornado, is still around. But they won't say how its pulled off now. Only a hint that it might be a normal attack now and not a special.

I might get a Wii just so I can play this game it looks AMAZING!! Metaknight and Snake don't appear on the official site as newcomers I'm mainly looknig forward to seeing the new characters, moves and stages!

Yeah that's what I thought! Anyway Metaknight is on the English (USA) but not English (Ireland) one but anyway so he's playable, I really wish they'd add these wicked characters -

There's bloody SO more they could add I hope they don't add fodder people like JigglyPuff, Marth, Roy, Young Link etc from SB Melee and try to make it a bit more individual and stuff!

Today's update: My Music

This update reveals a mode where you can adjust the likeness a certain track will play on a certain stage. That means that instead of being stuck with one (or two) tracks per stage, there's gonna be even more variety.

A new song was added, the Pokemon Stadium song. I love it cuz its based on the Gym music from the rpg games + the "evolution" music.

My question is why is Snake so under-wraps?

He's supposedly an unlockable and therefore "secret".

I loved the music update, especially since Melee had the best music and Brawl probably will too.

Not really liking the Pokemon Stadium music. It needs to be more hyped up like a gym battle or more faster like the Fountain of Dreams stage from SSBM.

I want Boo as a playable character. I'm suprised no one else has said this. Boo would be an excellent addition.
