I checked, the prices at one of the bigger supermarkets in the uk charge £4 or £5 depending on the day and their delivery charges are going to be lowered soon. If you drive to the store that is probably more, but for me it is cheaper as I take a taxi which normally costs around £10 there and back depending on the store i go to.
Still, a few extra £s isn't that much.

I have not used it because I like to pick out my own stuff.
We do use this service at work. The folks there are pleased with it, but find it to cost more then when they bought the food themselves.
