my daughter was very close to my ex father in law. She just loved him. She was only about 3 when he died. The funeral was held in a town about 8 hours away from where we lived. We attended the funeral and drove home the next day. We got home and I gave her a bath. I got her out of the tub, dried her off and took her into her bedroom to put her p.j.'s on. She looked over by the closet and started smiling and waving. She said "hi papa. hi papa." Just like she did when he was alive and would walk into the room. I said "Morgan, is papa standing there?" I don't want people thinking I'm totally nuts but I honestly believe PaPa was stopping by for 1 last visit. She never saw him again as far as I know. Maybe she did and we just don't know about it.

It would appear that some of us have a much more developed sensitivity to such apparent phenomena than others.
On the death of an uncle some ten years ago I was visited by a very bright globe of light, hovering several feet from me, while I was relaxing watching television.
The experience did not disturb me; (I am very thick skinned, and am difficult to upset) on the contrary I found the visitation comforting and rewarding. I chose to continue watching the globe until it disappeared into my bedroom. Then I returned to watching television, also realising that my uncle had just died, and I received an unconditional apology from him.
I had had a serious falling out with this uncle some years earlier. My sister had corrected my uncle's misunderstandings, and this had led to my uncle's apology.
Later inquiries confirmed that the arrival of ,the floating globe of bright light in my living room was the moment that my uncle passed away.

My brother has countless encounters with those stuffs and I'm kinda glad I only have been there twice.
The one I experienced was a silhouette of a lady (I suspect a succubus) passing my window balcony. That was about two years ago and my family said it might be the shadow of someone passing by on the streets in front of my house projected to the window, but until now, sometimes I find myself staring blindly to the windowpane, waiting for the silhouette to convince myself it's nothing at all.
The second one happened when I was still very small. My family's older generations said I got possessed by an evil spirit, but I can't recall anything about it.
