Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Its So Obvious They Are Boyfriends Lol

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

^ I bet a lot of fangirls orgasmed over that.

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

^Maybe they will. The episode is title Slash Fiction after all.

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Loved, loved, loved seeing James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter last week! I miss Buffy!

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

I didnt mean to offend. But he never falls for a normal woman. It's always a lady who is a monster/demon. just sayin

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

I thought the head leviathan Dick was very sexy. I loved his conversation with Crowley. "Don't roofie me and call it romance"

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Dean's dream was about everything he feels responsible for. It was not a wet dream about all the things he wants to fuck. He saw Castiel, Sam and Amy. His demons. Not his fuck buddies.

I liked seeing James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter last week. They were really good. But odd as a couple.

This week's duplicate Sam and Dean episode looks like it's going to be fun.

Maybe they'll all have a 4-way fuck session. ..|

i say it was WETTTTTTTTT hmmmmmm

whats does dont roofie me MEAN?

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

I was falling behind on the episodes but I'm all caught up now. I haven't been too excited about SPN lately.

Must admit, I'm bored by the Leviathans thus far. With the introduction of Dick (Patrick Bateman/American Psycho vibes much?), maybe things will start to get more interesting.

The lack of Castiel(is he ever coming back, I'm sad) and Crowley is not helping, tbh.

I'm with you. Well, it's not that I'm not excited--'cuz I'm ALWAYS a bit excited about pretty much anything Padalecki(goddamn...), but I just haven't reallly been feeling the show like I used to. Things are starting to feel kind of stale. They could most definitely do with a little more Cass & Crowley..|

James Patrick Stuart(Dick) is aging nicely!!! Used to sweat the hell outta that guy back in the late 80's/early 90's when he was All My Children's "Will"--even though Will was a complete bastard!!!

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Buffy reference last episode <3

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

^ Yeah, "kind of stale" is right.

The shitty thing is that we know Castiel/Misha Collins will be back in some capacity because the show runner has said as much. But there is a lot of conflicting information about when he'll be back. Either way, it looks like it won't be any time soon. Like late this season or next season if there is a S8.

For me, Castiel became a huge part of why I tune in. Him, and the other angels and Crowley.

Just going back to having the brothers doing their own thing and bickering like we're back in S1 isn't holding my interest very much. Which sucks because apparently this season is meant to be focused on them. And the Big Bad isn't living up to my expectations.

yea they need to bring back catiel and dean bro thing back. there are tons of youtube videos of that LOL

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

That does sound interesting. Been awhile since I've been excited about something other than drooling over Jared's body for an hour.

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

I recently read a spoiler on eonline.com that I found interesting:

While Bobby is struggling to hold on to life, he will be in purgatory where he will run into Rufus.

so ?? why is this intersting. plelase spill MISS STACY! (*8*)

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Tonight's episode was the most genuine emotion the series has been able to capture in years. Jim Beaver did an amazing job and it goes to reassure me that if the writer's could figure new ground to go over they're still capable of making compelling moments. I just wish they'd stop putting Sam and Dean through the same emotional loops.

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

I dunno. I found it all just a tad too sappy with the "I adopted 2 boys" business. And wtf? Dick is just sitting outside the hospital doing nothing?

And I like Bobby but I hope he's really dead and for good. Bobby surviving everything has gotten beyond ridiculous.

Of course the boys need to survive it all b/c they are the show. I just love Jared and Jensen together. You can tell they genuinely love each other. It's gonna be so weird when the show ends and they are gonna have to do projects w/o each other.

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Well the stuff between him and the kids is a little forced. They overstate it and it's a growing problem since season 5. Number one rule of film/tv is show don't tell. This program in particular used to be really good at showing "macho" non-verbal emotion in a subtle way but it's lost that quality. Every now and then Dean would break down and have an emotional monologue which would make sense because for half a season you watched things fester.

Now it's WAY too much talking. Way to much 'you're like a father' 'you're like a brother' etc etc. They gradually and substantial build and interesting Cas/Dean dynamic over two seasons and then they just tried to act like Sam was on the same level at the "end" of Cas's run by throwing too much dialogue about it in. It's a running problem and I dont' think it'll be fixed any time soon. Especially with Kripke paying more attention to side projects. This is clearly Sera Gambles doing and it all just drips of fan fictionesque blah. This is one show that got way too caught up in it's fan base. For a while circa seasons' 2-4 it would throw in a wing or make a joke. THe meta episodes are some of the best. But by the time 6 rolled around it had fully handed itself over to its crazed fandom and it's not to the benefit of the material at all.

All that being said the stuff with Bobby dealing with his own demons was gold, especially compared to what we'd been given lately. That scene where he was fighting with his wife was fantastic.

Re: Supernatural's back, baby!

Yea I agree the stuff with Bobby and his wife was great. I didnt know exactly what you meant at first.

And the Cas stuff was weird. He and Dean had a special connection that definitely didnt include Sam. In a way Dean "cheated" on Sam with Cas. There was always tension btwn Cas/Sam. Then Sam is calling him "like a brother"?

Well the whole way they handled Cas in seasons six and seven bothered me. All the interactions with him weren't true to his nature. Him DYING should've had a much bigger impact on Dean. Cas was his only friend in life period. Sam's his brother. Bobby is a surrogate father figure he was introduced to. BUt Cas is the only person Dean EVER befriend on his own. Cas betrayed all of heaven because Dean wanted him to. And most their interactions in season five ended with Dean threatening to not be friends with Cas if Cas didn't give adn Cas always did. Castiel cares a great deal about Dean and what Dean thinks. And I think they tried to smother the obvious homoerotic tension by saying a THOUSAND TIMES that Cas was "like a brother" and that everyone was his friend and that they were hurt. I don't want ot go down this path though because season 6 was the biggest fucking trainwreck of an excuse of a season I've ever seen from any show. It seems to be pulling up a little this season but it's very scattershot. Some episodes are great others not so much.

EXACTLY! Cas dying should have been almost like Sam dying for Dean. That's why I have been holding out hope that we havent seen the last of Cas. Only Im not sure how they could bring him back.

But now I think about it, season 6 was a big clusterfuck. LOL. There must have been 50 writers who had no clue what the others were doing. Who could forget the "oh-so-powerful, defeated-2-episodes-after-she-appeared" Mother of All?
