Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains [Official Thread]

True, heroes kicked asses at the last challenges.

But the heroe tribe was FURIOUS at this challenge, I mean they really wanted to win !!! ahaha

Probst manipulates the game again during tribal and saves his boytoy's ass. But this time I am glad. Cirie or Colby? Duh!

That was a great episode, the outcome sucks though. The problem with the Heroes is that they rely way too much on physical strength and if this game was based purely on physical strength they wouldn't have gone to three out of four tribal councils. I knew JT would not vote out a man before a woman, James and JT are the worst when it comes to this mentality toward gameplay.

I think the editing is setting JT up for a big fall, he is way too wishy washy this season and I think it will bite him in the ass, four episodes in and he has already back stabbed every person on his tribe, I would not be surprised if he is next to go.

This is when I regret reading the spoilers :(

It would have been a shock to me JT voting Cirie as like TaggedGalaxy said he has Rupert, James, Candice and Amanda pissed at him now and that's the majority

I'm finding the Villains more interesting. So I don't mind if the Heroes have to go the Tribal Council. As for JT - he's a target for being one of four who had originally won his edition of Survivor (the others: Sandra, Tom, and Parvati won her 2nd run). At some point I would imagine there has to be somebody who doesn't want previous winners coming close to winning here.

What did he say/do? I must not have been paying attention.

That lecture he gave Rupert (but really addressing everyone in Cirie's alliance), basically calling any Hero a loser who isn't willing to break their alliance to save Colby. He didn't say Colby, but I think he obviously was aware Colby's ass was on the line. He basically said if you continue to ally with someone like Cirie, then the Heroes will continue to lose. Although Rupert practically has Loser pasted on his forehead now.

Finally !!!!! I loved this episode, so weird to see cirie going home tho.. But Thats a good thing. That Might be the first "good" or at least "smart" decision they made.

-Rupert is so full of... I cant stand him.
- Candace, she might be strong, but the girl doesnt belong in this game IMO
- JT, well I love him, but man, I know you aint gonna win this time if u keep on being so arrogant
- Colby & Tom Next to go without that immunity idol
- James & Amanda I want em out

I am lovin the villains even tho Coach is annoying, I mean STILL Annoying

Russell looking for the idol, in front ov everybody that was hilarious, altho they wont vote him off.
Courtney and sandra : Love em but why they sit out in EVERY challenges !!!

So now rooting for : JT, Jerri, Sandra, Russ, Rob

Next one to go : Colby

NOOOOO! I loved Cirie, but I wouldn't want my eye candy to go.

Well this was a hot challenge. Everyone lubing themselves up with oil. Looked hot!

Yeah, I enjoyed the oil too.

Russell's act is getting very tired. I hope they vote him off soon.

Coach  what's the matter, poodle? Nobody likes me. and I'm so special and unique.

Colby can fuck off. Him surviving and Cirie getting idoled out of the game is such a joke. The Heroes are pretty much dead to me now. I knew from spoilers that Cirie was getting fucked over last night but it still stung to see it play out. And Probst is a douche as always.

And last night's episode was awful for the Villains. Edgic can pretty much eliminate all of the women on that tribe except for Sandra because they were all INV last night. Even Jerri! That was so disappointing, especially because Jerri and Coach are supposed to be a showmance and most of the Villains' story was about Coach.

"[Russell]'s an ass." You got that right, Sandra. <3

Courtney and sandra : Love em but why they sit out in EVERY challenges !!!
Why wouldn't they sit out? They're clearly the weak links in their tribe for physical challenges. Courtney probably weighs about 20 pounds and would have been broken into pieces if she did that mud challenge last week.

I'd like to be happy about the fact that Rob et al know about Russell's idol-hunting and should therefore blindside him the first chance they get, but after last season, I have no faith in that actually happening.

If Russell successfully manages to get Rob out, I'll throw something at the TV.

I rewatched the tribal council from last night and read Probst's blog, his favoritism has never been this bad. Last night was Probst trying to manipulate the game in favor of his favorites, he all but flat out told Rupert not to vote for Colby.

Quite the contrary: it's always been this bad. It's his worst quality as host and unfortunately, the producers do not reign him in.

I've actually been watching Survivor for once and I'm sad to see Cirie go. Was she really that smart of a cookie? Tom seems to think she had everyone rapped around her finger.

I don't know the history of James, but he doesn't seem like a hero to me. Just mute him and show him from the neck down please.

Yeah of course but that would be entertainment to see Courtney broken into pieces

MOUAHAHAHA

This is the first episode this season so far that I did not like, it was kind of boring. There was way to much Russell and listening to him talk about how great he is does not entertain me. The next episode also looks like it will be Russell filled. I wish the editors would show some of the entertaining and funny contestants like Sandra and Courtney. They must have the footage because some of the insider clips from them are pretty good.

Yeah I agree with above posters. Didn't like last night's episode, it was kind of boring. I really don't understand the Heroes rationale in regards to voting. It is just the way their stupid alliance is set up. Colby, Tom, and Candice versus everyone else. But to vote out one of the strongest males is stupid. They really aren't a smart tribe, eh? Anything that has to do with puzzles or anything non-physical, they suck ass.

This whole season is very telling of the producer's idea of what it 'heroic' (brute strength and stupidity) and what is 'villainous' (arrogance and thinly veiled self esteem issues).

I feel bad for Tom and I have to say that was just ridiculous. It baffles me because James seems to have sincerely convinced himself that Tom and Stefanie were the reason they were loosing these challenges. Like he kept making reference to how Tom couldn't possibly be better at a challenge than a man who can't walk a straight line and he was 100% sincere. Tom won more challenges in one season then James has in three. It's dumb to pin responsibility on anyone for their collective inability to complete a puzzle. BUt this is what happens when you remove the brain from a group (Cirie) and it still keeps on going. The heroes alliance is basically just a zombie.

The villains upset me because they all have Russel's number and yet he's still going to weasle through. I just can not stand him and his massive insecurities being heaped so heavily on Rob are sad. Worse yet I don't think they'll even split the vote. I think they'll all just vote for him because he has the idol.
