Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains [Official Thread]

I can kind of see why Amanda, JT, and Rupert would vote the way they did, James has no strategy, he is a loyal vote. And like Tom said last night whoever they tell James to vote out he will, so he is an asset to the alliance and voting block, but as far as challenges go, right now he is a liability.

They have been setting up the Russell vs. Rob showdown for a while now, I think it is fairly obvious who will be winning that.

I understand why JT and Rupert did what they did not JT. He needs to pick a side before they cut him for being unreliable... whcih seems to be why they want to slit Candace's throat but it somehow doesn't apply to JT? I don't know. I get keeping dead weight around for strategy and for someone like Amanda she had no choice, she's too close to James. BUt for people like Candace and JT it was teh perfect chance to flip the power positions and become assertive members of a firm alliance and not just peopel who vote for whoever James and Rupert are arbitrarily mad at.

This whole season is very telling of the producer's idea of what it 'heroic' (brute strength and stupidity) and what is 'villainous' (arrogance and thinly veiled self esteem issues).

You nailed it! This is the perfect description/criticism of the current state of Survivor, and exactly why I've been losing interest for the past three seasons. I actually forgot the show was on this Thursday and ended up watching the A.I. results show instead.

That was RIDICULOUS !!!

I am so furstrated with this season and the only positive thing is to see the heroes loosing challenges. I wanna see em fall hardcore.

I still cant believe it's an all star-season, an anniversary season filled with the best players and especially the most heroic ones.
None of their decisions made sens (like some said except for cirie)

- Sugar was good to keep around coz she would never win the bucks
- Stephenie was the strongest woman and in a weak alliance
- Tom over James ??????? i am speechless

and the most embarassing is that both Rupert and AManda voted thinking & saying James is clearly stronger than tom. Are you out of your mind ? stupid ? your clearly not strategic at all anyway.

Candace & JT could have easily voted with colby & Tom and have a powerful 4 way alliance.
Now they're with James, amanda & Rupert... REALLY S.M.A.R.T

Well i'd say Go villains, but I get the feeling they try to imply a Parvarti Vs Russel ending and I dont like that so early in the game.

We'll see how it all plays out. ATM im highly disappointed with this season

Oh yeah only good thing in the episode (JERRI ROCKS)

"I did not mean to do that" you so full of sh*t Rupert
LMAO

Rant Alert!

Basketball playoffs are on CBS tonight and next Thursday so Survivor won't be on until April 1st.

Why does CBS start these kinds of series (Big Brother, too) when they know they will be interupted for two weeks in a row?

It's inconsiderate.

](*,)

end rant.

^ Yes, it is. I posted too soon. !oops!

I finally went through every night on the cable menu and found it next Wednesday.

I watched last week's episode on Friday night OnDemand and missed the promo at the end.

thanks

Well well. The spoilers proved wrong for once, so now there is hope that certain people won't be making the final 3.

Glad Tyson is gone. Not sure how the villians messed that vote. I thought all they had to do was vote 3 for Parvati and 3 for Tyson.

Tyson is a complete idiot, he essentially voted himself off. If it wasn't for him Russell would have been gone.

Yeah Tyson played stupid !!!

I cannot belive Russell could have been out of this game if it wasnt for this stupid mistake !!!

The challenge was ok, and I AM RELIEVED James is outta here !!!!!!!!!!!

So glad this dooche finalle got the boot.

The Rob VS Russell showdown is a good thing even tho I'am afraid Rob wont go very far and evil Russell will eventually make the million dollars this time ;)

Who was supposed to go home ?

This season continues to fizzle. There's not even a logic to what Tyson did. I mean not even a flawed logic. Just split the fucker evenly three ways and then get rid of one of them.

Tyson is a moron. And of course next week they'll merge (now that the producers know Russell is in trouble, they'll do anything to keep him safe) and Parvati/Danielle/Russell will align with the Hero Five to take out Rob (or someone from his alliance). Even if Candice defects to Rob's side, it will still be seven (Russell, Danielle, Parvati, Amanda, JT, Rupert, Colby) against six (Rob, Sandra, Courtney, Coach, Jerri, Candice).

I just hate that Russell will likely beat Rob in this game even though Rob is SUCH a better player.

Russell, Russell, Russell

Survivor 22: Russell vs North Korea

don't even bother filling out an application, they're going to rig it so he wins eventually

oh, did that sound bitter? !oops!

Russell giving up the idol to Pavarti was an ego thing because he couldn't stand to prove Rob right. It was as stupid as what fugly Tyson did, and that was about as stupid as any move ever made on Survivor. But I am glad he did it so Russell's idol effort went for shit.

I thought I missed something because what Tyson did made absolutely no sense! There had to be some sort of Tyson/Russell thing going on that wasn't shown to us the viewers, right? It was perplexing, to say the least.

I was over Russell before this season even began. Sigh. Love me some Rob though! :)

Sucks about Boston Rob. I knew he was going tonight because I was spoiled, but he was still my favorite guy on this season BY FAR, and it's awful to see him lose against Russell just because CBS probably gave payola to Tyson to be an idiot last week. I'm still alright with this season because Jerri, Courtney and Sandra are still around though. It was about time Courtney got a confessional slamming Russell. And next week Sandra looks like she's going to get LOUD finally so I have something to anticipate. <3

I actually like Coach this season and felt bad for him tonight. I think he really likes Jerri and was truly hurt by her. Boston Rob kinda fucked himself up but not making the right moves. I dont regret seeing him leave as much as i thought i would.
