MY theory: it'll be random (the re-entry) based on when the producers think the season needs a jolt.

I'm afraid that I agree. The first re-entry (yes there will be more than one) could be as early as next week if Russell beats Matt. Getting Russell back into the game that early would be a quick, cheap ratings boost.

In Heroes vs Villains, Russell's only chance was against Danielle and Candice, since the Heroes hated Candice for her betrayal and nobody liked Danielle either, but Parvati's hypnosnatch was controlling his mind so he failed to realize that, too.

I usually don't put too much stock into those after-the-fact votes, since the players have had time to reflect on what happened to them in the game, which of the finalists played the "best," and they've seen the confessionals aired on TV, too.

Laura basically confirmed that Galu (save Shambo and John) wasn't going to vote for Russell, so the jury was only considering Mick and Natalie at the final tribal. Was Jaison really any worse than Natalie and Mick? Not too sure about that...

I was hoping Francesca would beat Matt. "Did I mention I was in an alliance with him? Super" and "So he was a gov't agent. Who cares?!" makes her the most memorable person first voted off for me.

Its been done before in the Philippines version when a shemale was voted off first, beat everyone who was sent to Redemption island, and then got back on the merge to make it to final 3

Anyway, I'm feeling the dilfness with Steve... yummyyyyy
and he's starting to call the shots at Zapatera

I'm enjoying this season so far, sure the editing is lopsided but we all expected that. I actually like Redemption Island it brings something new to the game, I wouldn't want to see it every season but it's refreshing. Sucks that Fran got booted she was awesome I would have loved to see her go further.

David is one of those contestants that looks hotter dirty, starving, and unshaven on the show, but nothing special off, he has seriously been looking hot these past episodes.

The premiere was the weirdest thing for me. Because, like, yeah, it was lopsided... but not in Russell and Rob's favor. Kristina, Fran and Philip were the ones who dominated episode one. I did want Fran to win the duel, too.

Though, it looks like the person who was in charge of editing Samoa is doing the editing for Ometepe now, since Rob is pretty much the only person allowed to talk on that tribe now.

Oh, and Krista. Seems more like a Purple Kelly clone than a Natalie White clone so far. I shall call her Purple Krista.

Well so far :

- Francesca : Kinda sad for her, she was entertaining, but she made the wrong move with the wrong person...

- Matt : I thought he was a jud copycat, but I kinda root for him against russell even if I think it's already over for him

- Russel: Too cocky WAYYY too cocky

- Andrea: Her spot right now is not the best one, but she might be in the best spot if she's still there after the merge. I feel like she's going to be Erinn 2.0 the editing she had make me believe she'll stick around for a lil while

- Mike : Well .. who ??

- Kristina : Only hope for you girl, get the idol coz right now after 1 day u already on the chopping block

- Ralph: U have to like him. The producers did say that they made the idol hard to find now... well, can they say that again coz he didnt take ralph any effort to find that idol...

- Krista = purple Kelly = Invisible = Looser LOOOL

- Rob : Oh please !!! Too much rob is annoying. They have a good cast this season but rob kills it all

- grant : Who ??? oh yeah one of robs' fan

- David : he is supposed to be the mastermind... still waiting to see it

- Phillip = Coach nuff said

- Natalie: My feeling she's in the F2

- Ashley: And yet another blond and yet another dumb and yet another robs' fan

- Stephanie: COme on girl ! dont try to play the evil russell girl. U just have a big mouth but IMO it's PURE COMEDY !!

- Sarita: Not much to say bout her

- Julie: Same, except I think russell will get his revenge

- Steve: DOnt like him. Plain & simple


So at this point the cast is intersting but I found the editing to be very very sloppy

Who did you think Russell could beat?

1st Season: Marisa, Ben, Liz, Jaison, Shambo, Erik (maybe)

2nd Season: Randy (should've aligned with him right away), Danielle, Candace and with a persuasive speech, Tyson and Jerri.

Russell was just clueless about alliances and their long-term effect, which is why it came back to bite 'em in the ass. Twice.

I don't think Russell would beat Jerri, especially if the third member of the final three were Parvati like they had all planned before Russell took Sandra. Jerri would have had two guaranteed votes, regardless of her opponents in the final three: her showmance Coach and Colby, as Jerri and Colby became very close during the season and put behind their past. (I hate so much that the show ignored this storyline!)

Parvati would have had a guaranteed vote in Danielle. Candice, Sandra and Courtney were guaranteed anti-Russell votes, and I'd guess they would support Parv before Jerri. Candice in particular voted for Sandra because she wasn't associated with Russell's alliance and she and Sandra were apparently acquaintances since they both live in NC. But if all three were from Russell's alliance, I'd say she votes for the person she likes and has played the game with before: Parv.

This would already knock Russell out of contention, and getting Rupert, JT and Amanda would be nearly impossible too, as Rupert and JT HATED Russell's actions in the game.

Candice and Danielle were his best bet in Heroes vs. Villains. The Heroes had the voting majority on the jury and they did not like Candice after she betrayed them. Danielle was not very popular with anybody, particularly Sandra, who cited Danielle as the most annoying person post-show. Candice would likely get Sandra, Danielle would get Parvati... other than that, who knows. But I can't see Rupert's ego allowing him to vote for Russell.

Points taken but that's how it all panned out. I was referring to Days 1 and 2 and feeling everyone out on both of his seasons. For all his strategic aggression, Russell couldn't even recognize something as basic as taking people whom he could beat in the final. I don't hate Russell as many fans do but there are valid arguments on why he didn't win either final (though his supporters, like Probst and Dalton Ross, often disregard these facts).
