People sometimes wonder if Sandra was in on the Rupert vote, despite her reaction, since she was shown wanting him out earlier in the season and at that TC, she threw her vote away on Fairplay when there could have been a tie otherwise (even though, in that case, there wouldn't have been).

On the other hand, Sandra didn't even think to point out that Lill had already lost during FTC (and she acknowledged as much in an interview, so it wasn't a case of the editors making her look bad), and her answer to Tijuana's question was actually bad for her since it helped solidify T's vote for Lill, so I kind of doubt the mastermind status that some people grant her in the above Rupert scenario. She's not perfect, but still pretty damn awesome.

I did think that the jury's reactions to Lill were awful though. She played a good strategic game and made the most of her second chance, but obviously she was way over her head in the social aspect and that's why she lost. But that jury made WAY too big of a deal about the scout uniform.

Where can I find Survivor series after 2005. Netflix only has seasons 2000-2005. I particularly would like China.

Unfortunately, the only seasons out on DVD so far are 1-4, 7-10 and 20. There might be episodes floating around on Youtube or seasons on torrent sites... and Wiki says that all of the post-All Stars seasons are on iTunes. Other than that, I dunno.

So I am to believe that a great many of you believe that Matt is guilty of homophobia by assumption?

I would not make that assumption based on what we've seen/heard so far.

It has been my experience that a majority of the homophobes in the world are self-loathing closet cases anyway. Not all, but a lot.

People with no religion can be homophopic, racist, etc. as well.

Plus, even though religion often teaches that homosexuality is a sin, some religious people don't even follow that teaching.

It's usually the extremists of any side of an issue that get the coverage, not the norm.

Thank you for responding and giving me information that helped me locate China. itunes has a few of the seasons and I bought China for 10.99 and it is downloading as I type this. I have Pearl Islands, Palau, All Stars and will have China.

Ugh, this season is SUCH a mess for edgic. Rob is too overconfident and heavily featured, but the other decent edgic pics (Natalie and Andrea) are way too UNDERedited. And Phillip is batshit insane while Zapatera is doomed.

I'm bored with Rob's smugness and Phillip's insanity. If the next three episodes are simply going to be picking those three people off.....I feel like skipping until they start turning on each other.

So what's the deal now on RI? Will each week have 3 compete, and the last place loser goes home while 2 stay? Or will only the winner stay and 2 go home next week? Or are they building the jury on RI, and they won't compete until the final week where the winner goes to the final 3?

Truly one of the most nauseating eps ever for me. I am so sick of Rob and Philip I can hardly watch. I keep bouncing back and forth between this and Idol and both were pretty bad tonite.

Probst I could kick you in the balls for leading Philip on and then stomp them into Philip's ridiculous face.

I see that Philip is bringing racism into the fray. What a total and complete jerky nut.

Confuses me too. Don't they need nine jurors? If they have them fight to be on the jury I don't think they, or we, will care.

I think all twelve people still in the game and/or on Redemption Island will be on the jury no matter what. They'll probably have some duel next week for Mike, Matt and David and the two losers become jury members while the winner moves on, or something like that. Because they seem really big on the Final 3/Jury of 9 thing now.

Rob is playing an AWESOME game. No doubt about it. The buddy system, the mind-control, the fear. It's all good strategy so I can't fault him for that. But from a viewer standpoint, it just makes you want to see someone -- anyone -- execute a successful move against him before the finals. The show is strongly implying that Rob won't make it to the end. He's getting the Hubris edit big time.

I wonder if those three girls have it in them to pull it off? Or at least two of them (Andrea & Ashley?) plus Phillip.

Andrea's horrible edit tonight has me reconsidering Natalie as a contender, honestly.

In Rob's own words, he "knows the power of a pair" in this game, and Natalie is his #1 girl. And he thinks he can drag her ass to the end, as he's already told us at least twice, but I can see the girl beating him again like Amber did because he's playing the same game he did in All-Stars.

Natalie's one main confessional so far is also how she planned to stick with Rob and then make a big move. Foreshadowing?

Though, I don't have Andrea completely out of contention yet. Her edit does have an unusual amount of care to it. They even did the Natalie White confessional trick in which they pulled a confessional from a different point in the game to use while acting like it was from the present. (In Natalie's case, her confessional about playing nice while riding Russell's coattails was from later in the game than it was presented. In Andrea's case, they presented a confessional of her last week that was likely from just after Matt's original boot.)

I think Ashley is for sure eliminated. The editors did seem to hide Natalie behind Ashley's negativity during Ometepe's camp scenes, letting Ashley take the bulk of the arguments with Philip about stupid things like rice and being lazy around camp in favor of shaving her armpits. (LOL at this random link that I didn't intend.)

I don't even think he'll make it to the finals. That's my only prediction for the endgame. Yau Man and Cirie (masterminds just like Rob) choked right before the finals, and even their edits didn't top the Smug-O-Meter like Rob's.

If this were traditional F2 (as it should always be), they'd all be fighting to take Phillip to the end. Or at least, they should.

Eh, all I know is that this season's a total mess for editing. And that if Rob doesn't win, the casual fans are going to have a Natalie/Sandra part 3 whinefest, especially if he loses to one of his followers.

But, hey, I definitely prefer this mess of flawed winner edits over Fabio's super contrived "I'm really just pretending that I'm this stupid, guys! Watch me get busted for pot immediately after proving that I'm a secret genius!" stuff last season.
