Survivor 27: Blood vs. Water

Laura and Tina's Redemption Island slaying of Vytas was hilarious and amazing, and fuck the housewives on Twitter bitching about them "cheating" because they eliminated some of their eye candy. Also, Hayden should have been voted out of instead of Caleb because I hate him more.

Other than that, this was an episode.

Also, Hayden should have been voted out of instead of Caleb because I hate him more.

Yeah but Tyson should've been voted out before either of them because I hate him the most.

(I realize Tyson played the idol and so even if they'd tried to vote him out, he would've been safe, and he's probably just going to find the idol again because the producers clearly want him to win and they're all a bunch of idiots paving the way for him and OH GOD HE'S REALLY WINNING THIS SHIT ISN'T HE?)

Tyson is suck a jackass, I do not like him at all !!!

It was weird to see vytas go down like that. He was shown the entire season and was out just like that
LOOOL at that

Ciera & Katie have the most jury votes as of right now !

I was utterly sickened by Probst's glee at Tyson's eating while others struggled to win the challenge. At least the other eaters were not as crass.

Good ep tonight. Great effort by Hayden, still hanging on (by a thread). Tyson and Gervase are both scum, I can't see how either could muster up enough jury votes to win.

So sad to hear about Tina's son. One moment she was probably feeling on cloud 9 again seeing herself as a celebrity on tv again, the next moment her son is dead. Ouch.

Good god they were really laying it on thick with the dramatic music during the scene with Tyson talking about the idol and Rachel.

How amazing would this episode have been if Tyson drew the white rock instead of Katie? Talk about blue balls. Also I hate that this episode forced me to root for Hayden.

All Tyson had to do once the first tie vote happened was get assurance from Cierra that she would stick with Tyson/Gervase over Hayden/Katie (and why wouldn't she? She sided with Tyson over Hayden in the past and all she really wanted out of this was to eliminate Monica and place herself in a guaranteed F3 spot as opposed to a F4 elimination). At that point, Tyson could've voted with Katie/Cierra on the rev-vote to boot Monica, and he'd still have a F5 majority (Tyson/Gervase/Cierra against Hayden/Katie) instead of having to draw rocks. I don't know why that didn't occur to him. Cierra clearly wasn't trying to blindside him specifically, she explicitly stated that her motivation for the tie was her fourth place status in their alliance, and so she'd probably stick with him and Gervase if they'd simply eliminated Monica, thereby guaranteeing Cierra a F3 spot.

Even Fate wants Tyson to win apparently because fucking Katie drew the first fucking rock out of four and picked the white one. UGH. The episode went from awesome to deflating at that moment.

First good move that Hayden has made and it was a riveting one especially when Ciera voted Monica. It did sting when Katie got the white rock. And that Tyson crybaby dr was nauseating, at the very least. Someone must have told him he needed to appear less arrogant, and yet he appeared just silly (as always).

Tyson is very tedious but I did laugh when he joked about hiding the idol in his crotch where "nobody expects a bulge." He really isn't funny at all but like a broken clock being right twice a day, he does get in a good line every now and then.

I thought the line was "where nobody would be surprised by a bulge?" Which of course just made him even more revolting to me.

Blah. You're right. "Where nobody will suspect a bulge." This is why I prefer watching TV with closed captioning on, because I can't hear anything correctly, but my boyfriend doesn't like the captions taking up the screen. :P

Tyson should be glad Cochran wasn't on this season. He was all up in Papa Bear's bulge and noticed it was bigger than usual when he was pretending to have an idol on South Pacific.

I guess it came as no surprise that he found the second idol when so many were looking for it. How many little birdies do they have on Survivor to fly around dropping hints in the most disgusting people's ears.

I'll be totally shallow and admit that I dislike Tyson as much for his scary raptor-face as I do for his thoroughly unappealing personality. And I certainly don't want to think about his crotch in any capacity.

So I don't think they've been doing Sprint Player of the Week polls for this season, right? Wow. This might actually be the first season since... Cook Islands? Guatemala? that doesn't have a fan favorite prize. I'm still bitter about Brenda losing it by less than 1% so I won't miss it. (Lisa, Kim and Cirie winning it though. <3)

Tyson's playing a helluva game. Plays his idol and his alliance doesn't hold it against him. Sweet.

I hope they pull rocks again tonight! The only shot for them to break up TGM. Voting with them only delays your eventual pink slip.

Sad for Tina & Katie. Tough break.

Ugh. It would've been SO sweet to watch obnoxious Gervase get knocked out and then have his ass handed to him on Redemption by Laura. Thanks for nothing MC.

I think Monica made the best move for herself last night, but the thing is that she's pretty much done and had no chance to win against either pair of her options. However I can understand why she picked Tyson and Gervase since she might be hoping to score with a bitter jury against them, while up against Hayden and Ciera she'd have no hope at all, and she'd do even worse than F3 if Laura returned and they kick her out at F5.

If the dominant alliance makes the final, Monica won't have any problems with Gervase (his social game sucks e.g. he's more obnoxious than Tyson). That said, she just doesn't have the ammo to convince the jury to pick Tyson over her. Many of them found Monica annoying in very much the way that Tyson does.
