I am so HAPPY for Natalie, couldn't agree MORe

A good guy one this time

makes up for all the amazing race loss

Do you think she will share the MILLIONS with her SISTER?

Say what you will I loved Reed tearing into Missy. I hated that snotty bitch from the get go and I am glad she got a good taste of what someone else and myself felt about her. And that speech she gave about voting out Jon was a lie. If I recall she wrote down Jac's name at that tribal.

She was still aware of what Baylor and Natalie were going to do because they told her as much though, and jurors have been pissed at finalists for less than that. Although I don't know why she was pandering so hard to Jon when he was the one vote she was 100% never going to get with Jaclyn sitting in the finals with her.

COnGRATS to Natalie!!! She played an awesome game and it was well deserved!

I think Baylor pointed out that Missy was again pandering to Jon because he was a man and Missy can't resist going along with the man as she had done in her divorces. That was why she couldn't write his name down and wrote Jac's instead. She may have thought it loyalty but it was her pussy talking.

Reed has confirmed that he wanted Natalie to win but he voted for Jaclyn just to ensure that Missy got 3rd place and not tied for 2nd. LOL! I still don't care for Reed but I LOVE this bitch-fight between him and Missy. Wish we could have seen more of it.

I knew that's what he did as soon as I saw that he voted for Jac but Josh didn't. I was scared for a second there before the vote reveal that Jac got Jon, Reed and Josh and had the possibility to grab Keith's vote and beat Natalie (LOL). But, nah, it was just Reed denying Missy money and probably popping a boner over it.

This is really annoying actually, that the F3 creates scenarios where jurors feel they have to break ties between the two losers and do it intentionally to screw people over. Vytas did the same thing last year when he voted for Monica. It wasn't so much a vote for her as it was to make sure Gervase didn't tie for second.

I've always hated the F3 format even when it benefited my favorites (like Yul). Much like the Oscars, where I wish they'd return to 5 Best Picture nominees, I've always wanted Survivor to return to a F2 format (and indeed my favorite game each year is trying to figure out which films would have been the nominees under the old Oscar system, and which castaways would have been the finalists under the old Survivor system).

That said, I'm a total hypocrite because I rolled my eyes at Reed relegating Missy to third place, but I cackled at Vytas doing the same thing to Gervase.

For Jon and Jac, how was a million dollars going to help them have a baby? I got mad at her for bringing up her life as a barren woman when there are so many kids who need a home and love and care. It is the ultimate act of selfishness, to me, for all these people to keep popping babies out when the world is so over populated and food supplies get shorter and shorter because the blessed few gets so much and so many get so little or nothing. Too many women seek out surrogates to have children for them.

Missy complained that they used her three failed marriages as a promotional issue. Well, duh? Everything you tell them is going to be used if they deem it useful in promoting the game.

In the beginning I was for Jeremy and his wife because I liked their relationship but once she was gone he became a whiny hot guy.

I'm really trying not get political on this board anymore but this is something I believe strongly in, and I couldn't agree with you more! Well said.

he became a whiny hot guy.

Ha! This is a 100% accurate description of Jeremy.

Also, now more than ever I'd love to see a season with players who were voted off week one or week two. Not just because of the Francesca lulz factor, but because it would be AWESOME of Nadiya could learn from her sister and win that season as well. I don't know why they haven't pursued this idea yet when they have SO many seasons to choose from, and unlike a lot of returning player seasons, it won't feel like a retread since those early boots are often people we never got to fully know or really see play the game. And I mean, if seasons must have themes, it's definitely a better concept than fucking blue/white/no collar.

The funny thing is that Natalie winning while Nadiya being the first boot kind of proves that really a lot of early boots could do well in this game if they have a decent starting hand. Because from what I've heard from just about everybody on the Internet, Natalie and Nadiya basically have the same personality (maybe Nadiya slightly more abrasive) but one got 18th and the other 1st. Though, I guess Monica also sort of proved that last year when she was like fifth out in One World and then got second in BvW1.

But regardless, a pre-merge returnee season is the only returnee format I'd like to see other than an all-winners edition at this point.

Since some of you in this thread were also in the American Idol thread a couple of years ago and loved her as much as I did, here's Nicki Minaj serving up FIERCENESS for Roberto Cavalli.

OK OK I'll bring this back on topic...um, if Nicki were on Survivor, she would TOTALLY be as awesome as Natalie and she'd blindside Mariah Carey who has the same dumb chipmunk face as Baylor.

Well, I think it's safe to say that Natalie or Jaclyn (more likely Natalie, but since Jaclyn pulled out that miraculous final immunity win...) would have won the final immunity challenge and ditched the other to slaughter Missy in a F2 vote. Although if it's Jaclyn vs. Missy, I think it would be interesting to see if Missy would get Nat and Jeremy.

Jaclyn's victory in that immunity was SO fluky, and the final challenge before a F2 is almost always endurance, which Natalie has won before and Jaclyn sucks at, so yeah I think Natalie probably wins that and takes Missy.

Jaclyn vs Missy though could really go either way. Remember, it would be a 7 member jury so Josh and Jeremy would not be on it. Natalie/Baylor/Keith vote for Missy because Keith still has a relationship with Missy and seems to know nothing about Jaclyn, and Jon/Reed/Alec vote for Jaclyn because Alec like...wants a threeway with her and Jon or whatever the fuck. So that leaves the deciding vote up to a non-entity like Wes, which is both hilarious and unpredictable. He's always stickig his tongue out like he's perpetually horny so maybe Jaclyn flashes him a boob and gets his vote?

Well, Cagayan had a F2 and a nine member jury, so they wouldn't necessarily have to boot Jeremy and Josh if it were a F2. Granted, the Cagayan F2 was partially due to Lindsey's quit... but Julie quit this season too and gah I swear they just make this shit up as they go along.

Yeah but in this hypothetical, I'm always going with traditional Survivor. And anyway I don't see those two extra votes clearing it up since Jeremy would vote for Missy (he's been defending her against haters on Ponderosa and in post-show interviews and he had no relationship with Jaclyn) and Josh would likely vote Jaclyn as a way to punish Baylor via her mom.

For what it's worth, in my corresponding hypothetical traditional Oscar game, this year's frontrunners would be Boyhood, Birdman, Selma, The Imitation Game and Theory of Everything with two "lone director" nominees in David Fincher (Gone Girl) and Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel) in lieu of the two nobodies in the two bland British biopics.

I'm a nerd.

Have we played this game for all of the F3 seasons? Let's see...
-Ozzy or Yul win and vote out the other. Both beat Becky?
-Fiji is a wash for me since I still haven't watched it fully.
-Amanda wins and votes out Todd. Courtney wins and the world is a perfect place.
-Bob probably wins and still wins Gabon.
-Only Mick winning and voting out Natalie would change Samoa's outcome.
-Only Parv winning and voting out Sandra would change HvV's outcome (oh Russell you are so predictable).
-Jud probably wins immunity and still wins Nicaragua.
-Rob probably wins immunity and hand-picks his final goat in Redemption Island.
-South Pacific is a blur.
-Kim wins immunity, votes out Sabrina in One World and probably plays a perfect game.
-Denise wins immunity and nothing changes in Philippines.
-I can only hope one of the hags wins immunity and votes out Cochran so Sherri can win (while still hopefully telling Erik to shut up and take a seat because that'd be amazing).
-Tyson or Monica win in BvW and vote out the other to beat Gervase.

Granted I made all of these determinations based on about five seconds of thought, without even considering how the jury would change in a traditional seven person-setup or the bias of my memory clouding history coming into play.

This is my FAVORITE game to play, but yeah I'd need some time to refresh on some of those seasons. I think the only one we've done before is China, where it's an easy call, because Amanda easily wins that final immunity and takes Courtney, who becomes one of those surprise/awesome winners, since she even got more votes than Amanda in the F3 scenario.

Also now that we've seen Jaclyn and Missy taking Natalie to the finals and, even more shocking, Woo taking Tony, I think it's interesting to look back at Cook Islands differently. Because sure the conventional wisdom is that Yul or Ozzy would battle it out to take Becky, but Yul insisted on an epic Rob C podcast that he had built such a strong relationship with Ozzy -- since they never knew it was going to be a F3 and he had every right to think Ozzy would win the final challenge -- and he really believes Ozzy would have taken him. And I don't disbelieve him since there's footage that season of Ozzy talking about how he and Yul really earned their spots, which is why he thought Becky or Sundra had to earn their spot in the F3 with tie-breaking challenge, and he's exactly the kind of asshole who 1) would think of Survivor in terms of honor whatever the fuck that means and 2) would be arrogant enough to think his challenge wins would seal the deal for him against Yul anyway. Throw in the fact that Yul was getting called out as a manipulator by other players, and the fact that Ozzy had no cue that Yul had a secret agreement with Candice and Adam that they would vote for him in the finals over Ozzy if he booted Jonathan early (which they both lived up to), AND the fact that we've seen a lesser manipulator like Tony convince Woo to do something so obviously stupid (and Kass was hated, unlike Becky) and well...I think it's really possible that Ozzy would have taken Yul to the F2 and the voting scenario plays out the same.

-I can only hope one of the hags wins immunity and votes out Cochran so Sherri can win (while still hopefully telling Erik to shut up and take a seat because that'd be amazing).

Sherri should teach a class in "Shut up, put away your little clit dick, and sit the fuck down" to Monica and Missy.

And OMG remember Monica was actually good at challenges? What if she won that final challenge and took Gervase? The jury REALLY didn't like him so I could actually see Monica winning in that scenario and that's all the justification I need that F2 is better.
