I can't get over how many levels of satisfaction happened at that Tribal Council. Not only Savage getting the boot but also it occurring as an idol blindside, Kelly/Ciera/Abi rolling their eyes whenever Savage spoke and fist-bumping each other, Abi's awesome "At least you made the jury" salt in Savage's wound, Kass clapping and crying "Yes!" from the jury, and everyone in the dominant alliance shitting bricks before the first minority vote was revealed. SO GOOD.

With all the times in the past when they didn't need to split the vote, why didn't they give Ciera 4 just to be safe?

Splitting the vote when you have THAT many people in the grey area is honestly more dangerous than an idol popping out. I understand why they didn't do that. I don't understand why they let Kelly see it coming. She should've still been under the impression that they were taking out Fish.
I really enjoy this season so far. I feel like everyone is really firing on all cylinders. I do think Ciera's right that some people (Kelly Keith and Kimmy) are coasting but I don't think she'd right with that as a generalization. I think a lot of the middle players like Joe and Spencer would be happy to change the status quo but are waiting for a moment that won't just leave them stuck in a minority. I think the boys as a whole are all very aware of what might happen if they wind up picking off the strong physical threats so they're all protective each other which is a rare but interesting way for things to shake down.
I personally would love for Spencer to work with Jeremy and Tasha but neither Jeremy or Tasha are getting nearly enough of an edit despite being the heads of the ruling group so I doubt they'll win this one. If anything I'd love to know what happened to make Abbie leave Tasha's side where she was so firmly glued pre-merge. I also enjoy that Savages own alliance didn't even seem to care he got voted off. They were all just laughing their asses off because they still had the numbers. Spenser and Ciera are all over the edit this season though, Spencer specifically feel like he's getting a winners edit because they're REALLY forcing this 'change' storyline down his throat which is clearly how they want to theme the season.

Yeah, Jeremy found another idol and stuffed it into his pants where he keeps all that Jeremy Survivor smell. I wonder if he'll pass that smell along to Jeff when he gives one or both up. That's gotta be some knock down, on your knees smell from that pair of dirty pants.
They have done a ton of spots for whats-his-face about wanting to get Joe out, make a big move, trying to talk someone into something. Finally he got the chance when he joined the witches and convinced Jeremy to go along. Spencer did not go along but Wiggles got the boot anyway. If Abi was not one of the three witches I could feel better about them but I so dislike that woman as I do Kimmy.

I started out so excited for this season but right now I'm finding it very draining (the Savage idoling last week was just a one-episode oasis in the Sahara Desert IMO). What the fuck was the point of bringing back Kelly and then barely even editing her onto the show? 2015 hasn't been a very good year for Survivor. Needs more Twinnies and San Juan del Sur in general.

I'm now thinking Jeremy ends up winning Survivor: Cambodia.
It's not just the editing. It's the feel of the setup. Especially so if he finds a third idol.
It seems like some past winners (or, at least, those who make it to the end) get propped up with finding idols like as if they were just given to them. It doesn't feel believable when viewing that.

Also what was the point of giving us all those Abi heavy episodes early in the season to show her flip flopping on all her allies, only to have her disappear so we don't even know when or how she became so close to Ciera/Kelly? In recent years, the editing on this show hasn't adequately depicted relationships and shifting alliances. Key players will just inexplicably vote out people they were aligned with last week without any explanation why.
As President of the Shirtless Jeremy Fan Club, I heartily endorse this outcome.
