Survivor 32: Kaoh Rong (Brains/Beauty/Brawn 2)

Survivor doesn't care about the contestants health and that bothers me. When I was in basic training in the military in Texas, they watched the thermometer and didn't have any training if it was too hot outside (I don't know, maybe 100F). Survivor also doesn't worry about their water or if they have enough to eat or any bugs in their ears, etc. I am beginning to wonder why contestants sign up if it might affect their health. Only one of them gets the $1,000,000. Do the rest of them get anything for the days that they are there?

I am going to miss Caleb.

Everyone gets a stipend, yes. Survivor Borneo's first boot Sonja used the $2500 she got from Survivor to start a charity that ended up making over a million dollars. Every contestant also gets $10,000 each for appearing at the reunion show.

Like a good attorney, Eliza Orlins make the case against Jason:

Yuck on Jason. Scot seems to be better away from his influence --- but - BUT this is a really boring season. I can see why that held it back. It probably has and ending that no one is going to like, I'm afraid.

I was super bored by last nights episode. This season sucked so bad that they are making next season all returns.

Not getting the hate for this season at all. Cambodia and its cast being turned into living chess pieces was WAY worse IMO.

Guess the others were serious about not liking this season.

The merge boot being postponed because of an unplanned elimination reminds me of San Juan del Sur, so hopefully this season's trajectory ends up as epic that season's was (especially because I thought this season's pre-merge was actually better than SJDS's). Unfortunately they buried Debbie pretty hard with her edit last night but I was never really expecting her to win.

That whole blurb about her thinking Nick's angular face was perfect for modeling and she would know because she used to be a model (cue "Part-Time Model" title card) has been something I've quoted far too much in the past week.

Also, Aubry comparing Survivor to Oregon Trail last night is already an instant classic. Hope she doesn't get dysentery and die.

I'm not optimistic on this season because of the stupid super idol (didn't they learn NOT to do this after Tony?). Because even if a majority decides to boot any one of Scott or Jason, all those douchebags would have to do is whip out both idols, combine them and play them after the vote reveal and they'd be safe. Tai would give it up easily for one of them (and I'm not just talking about the idol) and yes my opinion of Tai has fallen drastically because between Caleb & Scott he's proven, like Frankie Grande, that he's just another straight worshiping queen who gravitates to the worst kind of guys.

The only ones I really like are Debbie, Aubry, Michele and even Nick now (a little).

I sort of like Nick only because my boyfriend hates him so much that it makes me laugh. Whenever Nick appears onscreen, he launches into a rant about how he doesn't understand how Nick was on the beauty tribe and that he's the ugliest guy on the show and has a terrible personality. So then I counter with "But his angular face is perfect for modeling, and Debbie would know because she used to be a part-time model!"

After the monologue at the end of the episode I'm all but convinced that Aubry is winning this season.

There's an extra thing about Nick that makes him more appealing than the average Probst-approved hot guys on this show. Maybe because he has an actual personality? Basically I don't understand why he's not the guy Tai is fawning over instead of the two garbage bags on the Brawn tribe.

You mention his name Pepper and he's off to jury house.

Finally the women got together but will they stay together?

And of course although the show didn't explain Tai's vote for Jason AT ALL, the fact that he even placed that vote in the first place makes me hopeful that he's not interested in actually working with him and therefore the Super Idol will end up being irrelevant to the season.

Definitely feel like a woman is going to win this season too. Not sure between Michele or Cydney but those are my top guesses, with Aubry to go far too (unless the editors just love her soundbites, which I'd understand).

This would redeem him immensely in my eyes, especially after his annoying, "I don't want the Brains to get it" during the immunity challenge.

THANK GOD Cydney got the women together though I'd much rather have Nick around than Scott or Jason.

Also what are the chances that Tai only resents Jason now because he thinks Jason is taking Scott away from him?

I'm having a good feeling with Julia.

She's by far the most irrelevant character of the season so far, so I would be surprised.

I'm not even sure which girl is which.

Ladies. PLEASE. Do not split. I've been waiting for an all-girl alliance in Big Brother for years. It would be fun to see it here.

Let's hope that next week preview is only for show and that Audrey doesn't give into paranoia.
