Survivor China - the guys

Fucking stupid twist, completely unfair and it was a way for the producers to try and knock out the strongest ones. I kept on expecting some kind of another twist...it would have been awesome if they brought back Sherea and Frosti and said, time to rejoin your tribe. Time to vote.

There is no Todd/Amanda/Courtney/Denise alliance.... Denise only got along with James, Courtney is bitchy and bitches with Todd alot. Todd and Amanda are the only alliance. I have more faith in Frosti (as should the other three) than to think he's just going to sit there and say gee I hope we win every challange. There are deals to be made and relationships to grow. For GOD'S SAKE WHEN JAMIE WAS THERE THEY HAD A SCREAMING MATCH IN FRONT OF HER and she thinks they're an unfractuable tribe? And theres a huge difference between trust and assumption. You need to trust people. you need to make alliances and hope they keep their word. But neither Frosti nor Sherea had an agreement with any of them. Neither Frosti nor Sherea seemed to be particularly close to them. It's dumb. And it's dumb to keep James over Aaron. James is much more capable of winning challenges single handedly. I hope James winds up with the individual immunity idol and throws it in their stupid faces

Every move in this game is based on assumption and trust. You keep people around because you trust and assume that they won't turn against you for a while and you get rid of them when it's time. In every move you take a risk. I don't think Sherea and Frosti would feel comfortable going against the Todd/Amanda/Courtney/Denise alliance, they know they're tight and their short time won't gain their trust.

They don't care if James volunteered to go home, they're going to make the move they think is best for them to stay. They got rid of Aaron because they thought he had a greater bond with the other tribe and would fit right in during the merge and thought James would be more of an outsider. Jamie shouldn't have made it so clear though, If James is smart, he'll tell the other tribe at the food contest reward challenge their plan and tell them to throw it to get rid of Sherea or Frosti.

The reason you're this mad was because you thought liked Aaron and thought he was hot. If he looked like Denise then you wouldn't like him this much and be this mad. There's nothing wrong with it, it's natural. Aaron didn't do any bad strategy but he did get voted out for a reason. That reason was because those 3 thought it was smarter to get rid of him first. The worst vote offs are the ones that the person had no fighting chance, especially if it's from an unfair twist. What was Survivor thinking targeting the strongest players. The challenges would be boring if everyone sucks at it.

About your other post, It's always been 3 days between tribal council unless there's a double elimination which I don't thinks ever happened in a season with only 16 castmembers.

Over at Survivorsucks, most people thought it was a smart move, even some who hate them for it. Most people who hate them for it are the big James and Aaron fans. Only time will tell if it's a smart move or not.

I said I wouldn't watch but I get too addicted to these shows so who knows, I probably will watch next week.

Did anyonene else notice that they gave the players their bathing suits? The editors probably got tired of using the blur button. lol

Here we go with the "unfair" stuff.

Who said a television show was supposed to be fair?

It's for entertainment.

It's a gameshow. Game shows should be fair be they Big Brother or Survivor. I don't think this particular incident was unfair because Survivor has inherent unexpected bumps along the way that players should know some times just screw you over (Shii Ann Thailand, Brain Gautemala come to mind) which is different from the blatant manipulation on behalf of BB producers who are able to adjust the game in favor of fan favorites (be the Janelle [love her but come on] or the Donattos)

Yeah well now that Aarons gone I'm not really upset about it.... because Eric's not long for the game. Now that all the strong males on his side are goign to be gone he's going to be walking around with a target.

I don't know if people were so pissed when Michelle and Jenny were screwed by a twist in Fiji and Cook Islands

I loved that they threw it and even laughed about it  but I rather see James going than Aaron :( This might be one of the best post-ASS Seasons

It's still a game. They are all still competing for a real $1 million prize, despite them being manipulated by the producers.

I have no problems with them throwing in twists to keep the show exciting. I just hate when they are so predictable.

When Probst gave copies of "The Art of War" to both tribes, I was thrilled. "The Art of War" is one of the best literary works in history when it comes to analysis of power. Therefore, when the two members of the opposing tribe were selected, I was certain I had figured out the twist. See, the book has an entire chapter on spies. I was certain that the 2 people would be sent into the enemy camp as spies, only to be returned to their original tribes at the immunity challenge. Imagine how much better it would have been for each tribe to have "insider" information about the other tribe. And, considering both tribes should have been familiar with "The Art of War", such a twist wouldn't have been unfair. However, the producers totally dropped the ball. Instead, they hung the strongest players of both tribes out to dry.

That was the stupidest twist ever. And they were stupid to throw the challenge. Fuckers. I miss Aaron!!!!!

No. These shows fall under "reality" which a judge determined in a lawsuit many years ago is classified under "entertainment" and not a game show.

Even though Big Brother and Survivor constantly use the word "game" it isn't legally such.

It's for entertainment and the contestants are ALL paid for their time.

Most cast members are actors or at least wannabe actors or they would not do this.

If they didn't manipulate these shows, they would be boring as fuck.

Check the rules next time on CBS.com or MTV and you'll see that they plainly state that they can do pretty much whatever they want and nobody has the right to sue, not even the subscribers to the live feeds on Big Brother.

You have to click "I Agree" to those terms everytime you log-on to the feeds on Big Brother.

Survivor, as you know, is taped well in advance of actual airing (except for the final vote).

Dude I don't care what the technical label is as far as I'm concerned it's a gameshow. It can be a reality show and a gameshow just like dramas can be comedies too. When something presents itself as an unbiased competition for a cash prize it SHOULD BE FAIR. It's that simple.

I think Survivor has kind of a mixed record with that. They pull wildly random twists but nothing that's essentiall THAT unfair. It certaintly makes it harder for certain people but a tribe switch or a double vote out doesn't make it unfair (it may make me hate dumb players who make stupid decisions but it's not that unfair) Look at Gautemalla After the tribe switch Brain was able to convince them to vote out Blake before him. You're able to get out of these things it's just REALLY hard. That being said. Gameshows... or shows that aren't 'gameshows' but represent themselves as fair competitions for large cash prizes, should be fair.

So, what did Aaron think about the twist? Check this out:

RNO: Do you think the twist of swapping two people from each tribe was fair?

Aaron: (Laughs) No, swapping two people was not fair whatsoever. It was a twist of fate in the game and I was unfortunately caught up in that web. At the time, it was absolutely horrible. I felt things were going well at Fei Long and obviously they were. I felt confident in my alliance. And there was really no stopping us… until the game throws a wrench into the works. I was really upset about going over there. When I was actually leaving, the last few steps, I looked at Todd and he had that look that he hoped I make it to the merge but it just doesn’t look good. And I knew it too.

meh.. who cares.. reality shows are never fair with contestants.. they want to sell.. they want to have great twists.

I hope next twist they have Todd doing naked jumping jacks to save his tribe.

Okay, I gotta say, Todd is a hottie (yummy), so is Aaron and Erik (I knew he had to be more than a musician, I was so right that he is a model, you can't look that good and not use it) I like James too.

I hope Todd or James wins, Erik would be ok too, all the women this season suck, except for maybe Denise.

Ha ha...poor Jaime thinking that she had the immunity idol. If I was James, I would have busted out laughing.

Back to the guys for a minute.....

My faves in descending order:

1. Erik - very, very sexy guy to me, including his somewhat reserved, quiet demeanor, which i find only adds to his appeal....has the sexiest-looking butt in those gray boxer-briefs which unfortunately they keep blurring out (front and back shots)

2. James - what more can i add here.....the dude has a fucking incredible body and I would love to get him drunk and talk him into letting me bang him (i already have this fantasy going about a three-way with him and Todd)

3. Todd - total cutie, although he does look like a pretty small dude....still pretty nice to watch in his undies too

4. Frosti - another cutie.....just wish he had worn skimpier undies like the others and not those long boxers so we could check out his "goods" better.....i get a gay vibe from him also, so i think a lot his innuendo about the female contestants is just talk......he's got a nice body as well

5. Aaron - cute, nice body, seems like a nice guy too.......looks hot in those super tight boxer briefs he wears (or whatever they are).....too bad he got the boot before the jury

Finally, responding to an earlier post about the producers giving the guys bathing suits.....i noticed this too.....i think they gave them board shorts for exactly the reason you mentioned: they got tired of using the blur in editing to fix the shots where the guys' cocks (and asses) were showing thru their undies

I felt kida bad for Jamie, I would have loved to see John Robert go home. I still want Todd to win. Heres how I think it will go:

9th James
8th Peigh Gee
7th Courtney
6th John Robert
5th Erik
4th Amanda
3rd Todd
2nd Frosti
1st Denise

I think Denise is gonna win, just because shes staying under the radar but is strong enough to win challeges.

The way I want it to go:

9th John Robert
8th Courtney
7th Peigh Gee
6th Amanda
5th James
4th Denise
3rd Erik
2nd Frosti
1st Todd
