Survivor: Fiji

:grrr: Michelle was totally set up by Jeff.

:grrr: A lot of stupid people and stupid moves...A LOT! (I agree with you Surge!)

:grrr: They had the merge...it is now one tribe...should have been entire tribe voting at tribal council with the winning half all having immunity.

No bother though...I really didn't care how far Michelle made it ...the 2 I'm routing for, Edguardo and Alex, are still in it...and hopefully can keep their alliance of 4 strong. I sometimes just get annoyed that the production gets involved and influences the outcome.

They lost my respect when they broadcast about the idol to Mooki (although its not clear who did that and when or if it is I missed it). That was stupid, and to let him keep it! I mean come on. There are two of you and one of him. Until you told him about that idol you were gold. Now you very well may have screwed yourself. They should've known not to trust someone who screwed Rocky (and Anthony) over so easily.

I can see where you would say that Michelle was set up but honestly guys every survivor ever talks about how harsh Jeff is and how long and gruelling the councils actually are. They edit it into a few minutes and keep the parts that had a relevant effect. I'd put money that he asked everyone about everyone and not just ask everyone else about peopel at random. The fault lies not on Jeff but on Dreamz who apparently lacks hte comment sense to make what was a pretty basic news and in the clip next week is telling Cassandra (AND EARL!) about the idol. He seems like a nice (the explosive guy) but Survivor just aint for him.

Alex and Eduardo have been playing the game as intelligently as they could from where they were sitting I give them that but I just idk I don't like Alex as much as I like say Earl or Yao and Ed seems to be more in Alex's pocket than his partner. So my votes go for Earl or Yao.

I loathe Dreamz for voting out Michelle, but I have to respect him a little for playing strategically. I would try to get him out as soon as possible, since he could be good at the physical challenges, and he has been a loose cannon so far.

Poor Michelle. If there is an All Stars 2, she better be on it.

So far, no one stands out either strategically or physically (in challenges) as a possible winner.

But that's just it he wasn't play strategically. Both he an Mooki had an indepth (and accurate) discussion about how it would be better not to keep Stacey around. Yet since Dreamz wasn't directly instructed by someone he couldn't even connect two very simple thoughts and send Stacey packin.

I didn't like last one but that doesn't make this one good. The whole rich vs poor thing gets under my skin it's like when they brought the voted off people back in pearl islands... no! there are just somethings that are central to the dogma of the game

FINALLY!!!! The first really good episode of the season!! Lots of stupid moves and lots of smart ones and finally an episode where I couldn't predict what would happen three weeks in advance! It's about damn time!

Dreamz is rightfully getting revenge on Alex and Edgardo. Alex, Edgardo, Stacy, Lisi and Boo were terrible to Dreamz and Cassandra. They shouldn't have made their alliance so clear during their run with Old-Moto. Dreamz is going to do what Cassandra does, because he and Cassandra are as tight as Cassandra and Earl are and as tight as Earl and Yau Man are, therefore they have an alliance. I don't see Dreamz turning on Cassandra anytime soon, but as for the others? Probably. Dreamz is only in it for himself and most likely Cassandra, because he seems to really like her.

I loved the move that they made tonight with the 5 voting off Edgardo after Dreamz told them that Alex was playing the idol... Loved the look Alex made when he seen Edgardo's name come up. Stacy redeemed herself tonight, in my opinion. She was pretty strong in tonights second challenge. I didn't expect her to last as long as she did. She is pretty smart too (with her saying that Alex/Mookie/Dreamz/Edgardo could be misleading them to vote off Mookie and her saying they should vote for Edgardo). I can see why she was in the old Moto alliance... Stacy will be around for awhile, at least until Alex and Mookie are ousted.

I hope they're ousted soon. My next elimination pick is either Mookie or Alex. My guess for the next episode is that they will try to sway Stacy to their group by saying that Yau Man has the second immunity idol. But I think that it will fail. They don't have a majority and from the look of things, Dreamz will backstab them again.

I'm guessing Cassandra/Yaoman will be the Becky/Sundra of this season being too weak minded to betray their leader. They are going to stick with Earl to the final 3, giving him the million dollars.

Dude I really don't think that's true. It would not be in Yao's best interest to betray Earl. Yao can make just as much of a case to win as Earl. He's a smart guy and he rocks the hell out of the challanges and the survival portion plus he takes an active role in strategizing. Basically he's got everything Ozzy had going plus a little more only he's not a young attractive guy so that's probably why you don't give a damn. As for Cassandra, time will tell girl is not stupid herself and clearly aware of what's going on. I think she may be the first person ever to get every question right in one of those challenges and yet no one tried to take her out till the end.

I see the editors trying to portray Cassandra as the newest version of Cirie, since she won the same challenge in her season, was weak physically but good at strategizing - look who she took with her to cement her alliance with the luxury reward.

I too saw the Cirie parallel I mean she much like Cirie was on the outside of an alliance in her tribe but sat back and kept her mouth shut until she was poised in a position of power. Now her probably is basically how she's going to handle Dreamz. Frankly I think he needs to be cut loose. He's too unpredictable and unreliable. If Alex and Mookie were smart that go sit and say to Earl "Listen Dre is no good to anyone here except Cassandra. He just doesn't know how to play the game. I think we should have a truce this round and cut him loose."

Anyway, there's definitely parallels between Cassandra and Cirie but she's not Cirie. Cirie was in charge of that shit, and Cassandras just not. Don't get me wrong she's important, but she's not the one making the decisions. Thumbs up to Ed though to seeing it was smarter to take out Cass than Earl because had it worked it would've been.

I don't think he will ever betray Earl though. If it was Earl, Cassandra and Yaoman in the final 3 and Yaoman won the endurance like he did in last nights episode, then he'd take Earl even though he would win against Cassandra. We'll see how it plays out though.

I don't think that situation will come up because it looks to be shaping up as a final three season (idiots that's such a stupid concept)... But I really don't know what Yao would do in that situation he's not a stupid man. I mean yeah he does have an extreme loyalty to Earl but I feel that's reciprocated and that's why the trust is so firm. They stick together because they know they can rely on each other. When that is no longer needed (the final 3) I really couldn't say what either would do.

I totally agree. Poor Ed was actually a really good player but luck wasn't on his side. Occasionally you can get screwed by circumstances in the game. The same thing kinda happen to Michelle last week. She really had herself positioned well and then got punched in the face by chance.

I TOTALLY agree with you... like what was the thing about when they revealed that Yao had the idol they expeceted everyone to be angry at him ????? I'm sorry wtf? You're not suppose to announce it you were just an idiot for telling your entire tribe, in fact that's what led to your getting screwed over... Long story short Stacey is just not smart. She was in Alex's final three and she's in the 4th spot where she's going now. I feel like Alex is going to win immunity next week I don't know why I just do. But when it happens they're just gonna dump Dreamz. He's so illogical and jumpy with his voting having him on your side does you know good. The only person who benefits from his presence is Cassandra. And I never realized how dumb Boo was... wtf with the spiltting the vote in case one of them idk magically produced the idol? That's just dumb. You have a clue and have no fucking idea where it is... you think they were just walking through the forest and tripped on the idol? Stupid. But the way Earl handled it was perfect. He knew they weren't going to be reasoned with so he put in his two sense and just went with it rather than get them pissed at him. Right now the only forseeable upset to Earl/Yao is Cassandra on the outside chance she cares enough to convince them to keep Dreamz to the 5th spot and then Dreamz/Cass/Stacey could try to get Earl/Yao out but that will be difficult with idol in play. I don't think that she's got that kinda move in her (Cire could do it but she can't). And it ammuses me to no end how much Alex thinks he's having when he's just not... so much self importance.

Questions!!?? If idk instead of putting it back and confronting Yao, Mookie just kept the idol and tried to use it what would happen? I mean are there any rules saying you can't just steal it?

Why don't we just admit that they're all idiots except for Earl, Cassandra, and Yau-man.

Four Horsemen? WTF? Alex and Mookie are "brilliant strategists"? Adamhad better strategy than you two, and that is saying a lot.

How much more can Boo hurt himself?

Stacy's oscillating in terms of edit. First she's sweet. Then she's a bitch with the coffee press. Suddenly, she's friendly with the children. Last episode, she was "strategic". Now, she's back to being bitchy again.

Surge - I just have to laugh and agree with your posts. I think that you have the word "Stupid" in every single post. And I think the same way. This has to be the STUPIDEST cast ever in survivor. And Dreamz has to be in the top 5 of all past seasons...can't believe that he would go up to Mookie and Alex and say, "Duh duh, I can't believe they pulled a fast one on us" - What an idiot. Go back to cheerleading camp!

I know you will disagree with me on this Falconfan but I forgot to mention how stupid it was that people voted Stephanie being alone on the island the most or 2nd most hardest moment on Survivor. They only did that because they like her.

She was there by herself for about half a day and then got a letter to merge. It could've been Bobby Jon if he knew how to make fire quicker, he wouldn't have a problem and no one would consider it a difficult challenge. People have been stuck on exile island for 2 or more days where they were stuck in storms and stuff. They still had to get their own food and everything. Bruce was sent there I think 3 times in a row and there were way other more difficult moments than spending a day or 2 on the island alone where the shelter and everything is already built.

I think the entire tournament was just stupid... it's just ridiculous promotional crap for Ford

Surge man, you know that the show is edited dramatically right? They edited the tribal council to make it more watchable on television.

There is a lot that happens that they don't air and they will air certain things because they are trying to tell a story up until the finale. For example a few things that never aired were Sylvia telling Rita about the idol being hidden at camp and during the "knock off" challenge when Cassandra ambushed Rita, Rita injured some cartilidge (Rita talked about this in a interview with CBS and KILT).

For all we know these dramatic pauses could've happened before the votes were revealed at each tribal council. We don't know for sure.

But man.. Cassandra burned some bridges tonight. She turned on Yau Man and Earl. If she manages to knock them out of the game does she really think that they would vote for her for the million if she turned on them? I doubt it.

I hope Earl makes it to the final. Earl is a great guy. If Earl doesn't win I want Boo too because Boo is a fucking hunk.

Yao said to Earl earlier in the day that he had a bad vibe; and then, during tribal council, Stacy made mention something like there would be an upset or alliances turning...or something along that line. I think Yao had a pretty good idea he was in jeopardy. The editing did give the impression there was more time than usual to play the idol...but I think it really was just for drama for viewers sake.

It seems in this season that Jeff's questions are just as revealing as some of the answers themselves. He's obviously baiting them to reveal a lot of secrets that they probably don't mean to say. And yes...I know the council discussions are much longer that they appear...and all the players are asked the same questions...but he's still gearing the conversation to lead in revealing directions.

What I'm not understanding right now is how Yao thinks he's safe to get into the final three...maybe when he said that he was banking that he wouldn't have had to have played the idol??? The way I see it...Earl is safe because he has the idol, Cassandra and Dreamz are tight...Cassandra is tight with Earl too. Boo and Yao are the new odd men out...and nobody wants to go up against Yao in the final 2. He has to have a huge target on his back.

Since we never see the entire tribal council it's difficult to understand everything. The dramatic pause is typical reality show editing, nothiing more.

I understand why they needed to use an F-350 if they we're gonna haul/tow all that stuff, but in there pricey gasoline times why would Ford give a prize that gets 12 mpg instead of promoting newer items like Edge/MKZ or an Escape Hybrid?
