There are 2 genuine crazies, the biggest being the football player and his paranoia. I thought it was a really good opening and I am looking forward to the rest of the season. I like Ben.

And the secret advantage didn't do it for anyone this time round.

She didn't get much. I too was enjoying the eye candy.

I was hoping the advantage would be used and Alan would be the one going, I didn't like his paranoia although him getting JP to strip was a nice little bonus.

I like Ben as well but time will tell.

I will admit that, prior to the premiere, I was not in the mood for a new Survivor.

I only have one thing to say, right now, about two players.

My guess is that Alan (originating with the blue tribe) and Joe (the yellow tribe) will get taken out, when convenient, rather than tolerated to a point of allowing one or both to get to the end. If I am wrong, a game adjustment happens. Alan appears to know nothing of what he is doing. Joe, on the other hand, may have it in him to correct how he mishandled himself in the premiere episode.

Alan's paranoia was the only good part of that tepid premiere, and he's one of the only attractive guys this season.

I don't think it was paranoia on Alan's part. I think he is just a mouth that won't control itself. After his tirade at council how can anyone entertain being aligned with him? He is a bully as well in my opinion.

I actually think that Cole and J P are the hottest guys this season, and there are other I like looking at as well. I don't find Alan's demeanor at all attractive. Of course, he has that football player's attitude of toughness, and don't take no shit from nobody, but social skills are dead at his feet. The only thing about his confrontation with J P and Ashley was J P dropping his pants and turning his ass to Alan and that would have been more entertaining had we seen J P's ass. J P does show a nice basket.

The goofy Patrick reminds me some of the model who won Survivor a few seasons back who kept getting foot cuts, crab bites, etc. Devon is cute and a bit goofy, too. As far as a male guy being attractive and seemingly intelligent is Ben.

Thus far I have not found one of the women rootable. The fisher woman who wanted to get rid of Patrick and seemed to be on that path with Simone, ended up voting out Simone. We did not get to see the conversation that determined what caused their change of mind, which often happens on Survivor, I assume to keep some suspense at tribal. The conversations at the two tribals have been rather lame except for Alan's tirade in the first tribal, but that didn't and couldn't change the outcome.
