Not me! I totally hated Ozzy back then too and was SO happy when Yul won -- still the best winner of all time in my opinion. And Yul was WAY hotter (intelligent, well spoken and beautiful to look at!), much rather have HIS babies.

Besides, weren't you an Adumb fan back then? That's even WORSE than liking Ozzy  (love you!)

I thought, and still do, that Adam got gradually cuter through the season. The scruff really worked for him. BUt I was always rooting for Adam to get immunity so that Oz would get his ass voted out.

And I'm sorry but I'm still nto all that impressed with Yul. He had no competition. The only one on that season who even tried to play a social game other than Yul was Johnathan. There was also a fundamental flaw in the immunity concept that season. Whether you blindsided him or not the immunity worked. So it basically was way stronger then.

It was another good episode. I think Cirie is going to win this! Fine by me...I like that the girls are all being manipulative bitches...Parv kind of went about it in a dumb way though, so I don't think she can win anymore...Cirie is playing a PERFECT game...does anyone else agree?

It always has been difficult to judge how well Cirie plays. Usually she comes across has laying low and keeps attention away from herself. But it's obvious she can control things more than the show reveals, or perhaps more than the others even realize. Oddly, I've always liked her. She does quite well for herself even though she never contributes much to the challenges.

James had a hot body...love the 8 pac

It's hard to say for sure. Cirie is a survivalist in this game. She's fully conscious of the game, everyone in it and their intentions and just kind of lays low until she sees something that's going to negatively impact her.

I'm cautious though. She needs to get in tighter with Erik and refirm up with Amanda because she's number 4 in the ruling regime and she's going ot need her outs.

James is so fucking hot...I am dying to see what he is packing.

Erik is cute but when he opens his mouth, I cant stand it.

Jason, IMO, is THE dumbest fucking player in the history of Survivor.

That honor will always belong to Caryn from Survivor Palau.... who stopped a plan to get out Tom Weston (who lost 0 immunity challenges up to this point and would go on to never loose another) despite the fact she was not alligned with him or litterally ANYONE else. She cut off a potential all girl alliance because she'd prefer... nothing. Good job Caryn. Good job.

I know I've got a crush on sweet, dumb Jason, but James sat on TWO immunity idols, and Jason (like Ozzy) sat on one...objectively, James must be twice as dumb...?;)

Had to tape the show and just watched it. I liked Jason, but he was stupid not to use the idol. I agree that James, Amanda and Erik should have tried to rat on Natalie to him and get his vote. Now they are all screwed. Natalie should've been the one they went after, not Parvati. Natalie is smarter. I do NOT want to see an all woman ending, but that is where we are going.

I remember why I love Amanda now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing! Though I would've much preferred to see Nat go instead of Amanda. Alexis was no real jury threat even if she was eloquent... which was she? I never heard her speak.... Anyway Oz/James/Elize TOTALLY just put a huge target on Mandy's back with their miming and obviously glee. But love my girl and she handled everything PERFECT. She found out just who was loyal to her and by how much laid one HELL of a guilt trip on Erik!!!!!

Cirie handled the situation well too. I would've liked to see her try and convince Erik to vote fore Alexis but the boys smarter than he first appears and I can understand if she was skiddish about letting it come down to chance alone.

First of all, re Amanda's "guilt trip" on Erik - oh survivors, get over it! outwit, outlast, outplay, for fuck's sake he even told her honestly and openly he would vote for her, how rare is that? Ozzy pouts and Amanda pouts - at least Jason and Alexis don't pout, bless their hearts.

But more importantly - what players these players are! I haven't seen such blindsiding week after week in a loooong time! Some serious schemers and plotters, and ok I have to give some credit to Amanda - she asked to go to the island, she worked her ass off for all the clues, and she went and dug up that idol, and then played it beautifully, except for the "guilt trip" - but maybe that was just politics, making her fans on the jury hate Erik in case they end up in the final 3, and making her fellow competitors distrust him so they'll vote him off. Erik isn't my favorite guy, but what a man at the shooting challenge! - and hey he is the only guy left, and I'd do him. I'm rooting (ahem) for him to stay in it, maybe to win it. I'd be more ok with Amanda if she would just quit that pouty face - didn't she see herself in her other season???

It's going to be an interesting final few episodes...

I would be totally with you if he wasn't STILL in the game. She's making him feel indebted to her and doing a fairly good job at shaping the argument. In the process she's also totally slamming him in front of the jury in case he can immunity himself all the way to the final two... major game points for Amanda. It's not sour grapes just good game play.

As much as I love my girl... I see a more likely Natalie, Pavarti, Cirie final 3 in the making.... though I'd like to give it to my girl

But I'm so very pleased!

Anyone can win at this point and I won't be pissed off!!!

Which BTW why are there such high walk off/quitting levels on allstar seasons... it pisses me off and ruins my fun.

This is one of the best ever Survivors. Loved the Amanda performance at Tribal. Splendid. The ousting of Ozzie was classic but I love Ozzie. Jason was such a babe in the woods and that C Natalie lured him in like a Medusa to ships at sea. I am loving Cirie although I hated her in the original show . At this point, if Cirie, Amanda or Pavarti wins I will be very happy and I have never rooted for a woman before.

Well in Jonathan and James' case neither one of them wanted to leave and it was clear there was just a freaky number of injuries this year. Chet and Kathy on the other hand are useless quitters.

And Johnny Fairplay. That was a waste, too. The three of them get a big thumbs-down from this household. Funny thing is, before the season started, Jeff Probst gave Entertainment Weekly an interview and flat out said that he didn't think Kathy was a good choice at all. How prophetic.

OMG!!! Despite the record evacuations this is turning into one of my favorite seasons!! After losing Jonathan, Tracy and then Eliza, I thought I wouldn't care about this season anymore but we've had SO MANY surprising Tribal Councils. Tracy and her click blindsiding Joel and Mikey B, Cirie and Parvati ousting Ozzy and Natalie and the bitches ousting Jason and now AMAZING AMANDA who is the only person this season smart enough to play the fucking idol when she found it! HA HA HA!! LOOOVED IT! I too wish she had targeted Natalie (Alexis didn't seem like that much of a threat) and if the three Fave Girls stick together next week, then Erik and Natalie are toast! All they need is for Amanda to win Immunity next week and they can oust Erik.

Wow, scratch that FalconFan, AMANDA may win this whole thing and we may have a F3 with Amanda, Paravati and Cirie. Which would be beautiful!

I agree in theory, but there's another school of thought on this one, as well: First, though, I want to take this time to mention how much I hate Natalie. A lot. And she is not nearly as well-liked as Alexis, to be sure.

But come final tribal, there is always someone who receives a couple of what I like to call "integrity votes". (See Courtney last season, who was the only one of the final three to not "backstab" and received two votes for it.) Sometimes, if the survivor is truly eloquent (remember: Alexis is a motivational speaker), that person can weave a beautiful tapestry for the jury about how he/she was able to play the game not only socially and physically, but with "integrity". Sometimes, that can be quite swaying. Also, for Amanda's plan to be successful, she needed Parvati to help her, (This was obvious when Parvati gave Amanda time to dig for the idol, etc.) and remember, after Parvati swore to the others that she wouldn't vote for Amanda, Parvati told Amanda that she wanted to vote for Alexis because of the friendliness factor. Even though Amanda had wanted to vote for Natalie (because she saw her as more of a physical threat), she relented to vote for Alexis. I think this was largely due to the fact that she certainly didn't want to roil the pot of the only person who was being faithful to her and give Parvati a reason to "tattle". You say Alexis, I say fine.

I could be off-base, but as a big Amanda fan for both seasons (my roommate and I dubbed her "Nice Face" the first time she was on the screen before we knew her name), this was her finest hour. Not only did she play the idol, but she also told the truth about when she found it (and REMINDED them at tribal so that the jury could see her honesty). AND she blackened Erik in front of them, which (even though it was part of her perfectly angsty whiny Oscar-winning, pre-idol performance) outed him as untrustworthy. Amanda is also winning the award for screwing the fewest people over IN ADDITION TO playing a great social game and boasting a large amount of the likeability factor. She is the person to beat right now.

That being said, the target on her back is as wide as the Montana sky, and I think that she needs to win immunity next time to guarantee her place in the final.

I might be overthinking a lot of this, but this is my (verbosely) comprehensive take so far.

Also, does anyone else just LOVE Eliza's expressions on the jury? She keeps getting surprised every week and she's just dying from the excitement. It's a great drama and she is so tuned in!

Back to back 'blind sides' and then a reverse 'blind side' (Amanda blind sided the others)

That was great. 3 good weeks

Absolutely! And she was also the person to beat last season and failed to get a single vote after a MAGNIFICENTLY AWFUL meltdown at Final TC. One of the WORST performances there ever! Which is why Amanda should not want to get to the finals with either (you're correct) Alexis or (especially) Cirie.

Watch her get to the finale with all this going for her and still lose to Cirie. I'd bet a hidden immunity idol on it. Or heck -- TWO idols! -- if you like them apples...

Not only did Amanda sublimate into nothingness during final tribal last year (receiving only one vote, from Erik (likely because she was purty)) but she was outmaneuvered by Todd, who, in contrast, told the jury exactly what they wanted to here. This is why she doesn't want Cirie in the finals with her. But, unlike last season, all Amanda has to do is tell the truth this season, and that will win her a few votes.

Erik is still my favorite, but he would have to win all immunities to stay in it. I like Amanda, too, and she played a great game this week. I despise Natalie and couldn't believe they didn't take her out instead of Alexis. With her bad knee, Alexis wouldn't have been a big physical threat and with the way people are dropping this year, may have been taken out medically. It is getting interesting now.
