I don't think the problem with the show is necessarily poor casting...it's the overproducing that's killing it. The people that have little screen time may very well be interesting people, but everything is so edited that you would never know.

Like I said long ago...they need to adopt a Big Brother-esque style where they can set up 'jungle cams' as live feeds avec night vision or something to have everything out in the open for true reality television.

PS: What did the beloved Kristin Chenoweth ever see in Jeff Probst to date him? Did they break up because she wasn't comfortable with strap-ons? I am confused...he was okay in the beginning but now appears as a pretentious douchebag.

I just watched the latest episode. I'd really like to add some pithy, apt, devastatingly witty riposte, but there's really nothing to say.
But getting to see some quality John, Brett and Eric was worth a little of it. Those three guys are hot.

I saw a commercial with a guy who fainted during what the commentator called a rewards challenge. Was there an actual incident?

The last time I recall a castaway hurting themselves was by burning their hand in a fire and they had to call a helicopter in to fly him out.
 
This season is not good BUT, no way will I stop watching because of Brett. This guy is absolutely adorable. Perfect in every way. Cute dimples on his face, great smile, gorgeous eyes, and very hot body.

I cant help but get a boner when watching him. They need to talk to him more and he needs to be shirtless alot less (even though he is a tee shirt designer).

The chicken should definitely be on guard; Shambo is not to be trusted. She bears too much of a resemblance to Colonel Sanders....
 
Wow I didn't realize everyone hated this season.

I guess I should've started watching survivor earlier huh?
 
That was an alright episode. Now that a few people have gone, everybody who is still in the game is starting to get screentime finally, so at least I can't complain about that anymore. Still, I don't really have any real favorites, and I only have two least favorites (the ones who get all of the screentime, naturally), so the season is still pretty ho-hum to watch.
 
For me it is just about the end of the season. Another Russell show with his same ugly remarks. It seems even as the merge comes he is still the focus for the editors and I can't stand it. I was yelling at my tv tonite every time his face was spewing that ugliness.

And his comment about wanting to win the million to have a good time. isn't he supposed to be this oil millionaire? Something rings foul.
 
I gave in and read spoilers and I usually hate being spoiled, but at this point I don't care anymore this season is so horrible. And if those spoilers are true it isn't going to get any better.

Bring on All Stars.
 
I am bored with Survivor: Samoa. I guess I may be just tired of the series in general (it premiered in 2000!). But I do have a relative who bases her wishes on who should win on who is likable in terms of personality. Problem is…nearly everyone has no personality. The meanest is Russell The Bear, but he's also the only one who makes any kind of impression. That's how noteworthy these castaways are in Survivor: Samoa.
 
Awww...everyone is leaving Survivor show. I am kind of on the same page, it just not exciting to watch anymore. I would be curious to know if their ratings have gone down.
 
I'm so done with this season. Russel is gonna survive this merge maybe even make it to the end. Makes me sick.
