yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I have all sorts - one of my favourite things to do is to lunch at a good sushi train, and just wait til a good dish goes by so I can snatch it!

A fan of unagi, jellyfish salad, salmon (smoked or otherwise), anything with avocado and some tempura. All of it served with pickled ginger, of course.

Not so much a fan of wasabi.

My two favorites: (not to scale)

Maguro (tuna)

Futomaki (seaweed, rice. filled with shrimp, egg, spinach, crab or whatever)

Just hamachi (yellowtail tuna) sashimi for me and if the restaurant has it ... hamachi kama; the cheek or collar of the fish grilled and served warm.

Oh, and an order of edamame and another sake please.

...make it two! ;)

If you like yellowtail, you might want to try hamanegi. It consists of rice, topped with chopped yellowtail and green onions wrapped in seaweed. I think you'll like it. :D

I figured "Si!" would be winning. =D

I do worry about ordering sushi, sometimes. Like, I wonder "Is this place able to serve proper sushi?"

I Love it, no favorites; I eat it all.

I do have to say I am indifferent about Eel. It doesn't taste like anything but the wrap itself was delicious because of the avocado.

Oh and Octopus tentacles don't taste like anything either I could do without them but would eat it if it's on my plate.

Sushi will hold a special place in my heart. My Asian friends during college used to make fun of me a shit ton because I was left-handed and couldn't use chopsticks. They thought it was adorable that I struggled to use chopsticks to pick up "Asian" cuisine, particularly sushi. It took me about 3 years to master them and when I mastered picking up sushi with chopsticks, it felt good; like a penis (sorry just channeling my inner Mr. Garrison there).
