sweats and going commando

I tried but I prefer wearing the briefs, don't want to leave marks on my pants.

I go commando 90% of the time-whether in dress pants, jeans or sweats. Besides- people like to know what a man wears under his kilt-just like they like to know what he wears with his sweats. If you've got it-flaunt it!
 
I wouldn't go commando in public. Used to go commando when wearing jeans, but splitting the ass out of a couple pairs in public........ very embarrassing. No more commando for me.
 
IMO, commando is fine. I live near the beach in San Diego, and we see commando guys all the time.

I first switched from briefs to boxers in November 10 years ago. It was just starting to get cold, and track pants and sweatpants were all that I wore when I wasn't at work or going out someplace that required that I dress more. It sure felt awesome to let my dick loose instead of being confined in snug undies, yet I could see the outline of Junior pointing down and to the right, especially when I wore white or light colors. There really isn't much difference, if any, in seeing the VPL through sweatpants between freeballing and lightweight boxers. At first, I felt a little bit self-conscious when I was out shopping, but I was done with briefs and told myself to get over it and be comfortable. After a few weeks, I reached the point where I didn't care about it, and I became amused when other guys would check me out.
