That old pharte better negotiate in good faith. As much as Scott would like to have that launch for this weekend, I'm sure he could borrow the old shit boat from James. There's also the little tin boat, and to be honest, that launch could end up costing a pile of cash, Like having to build a boathouse for it. I think he wants it to get back at the guy that called his pride and joy a "plastic boat". It makes it sound so cheap. It's fiberglas, not plastic.
As an aside, dad and I went into Greavette's in Gravenhurst surrounded by these magnificent launches which were now inboard/outboard, and asked if they sold fiberglas boats. The old guy said, "If God wanted fiberglas boats he would have made fiberglas trees." He turned on his heal and exited the showroom.

Soz but I have a bathroom to which I must attend. Technically it's 3 nights and 2.5 days, but then, there is 1 night just with Vlad. Am I the only one who thinks there is some deep chemistry going on between those two? Scott has never shown his nasty side but watch out if he is crossed. He is just as likely to walk away from the boat deal if he doesn't get it for his price. Never be rude to Scott.
On the other hand, perhaps he wants to get it now so Vlad can experience a ride in a piece of Muskoka Lakes history. Who knows what the future will bring. I hope they all survive, like Gloria Gaynor said long ago:

As I told Donny the Q, I visited one of our socialist medicine providers, the local hospital, where I was treated for high blood pressure and a seriously disgusting case of the 2 ended flu in a prompt efficient manner and didn't have to sell the house to pay a bill. Anyway, It has left me weak and tired. Also I must empty my ensuite this weekend because it's being gutted on Monday. We are replicating Scott's bathroom except the shower will only be 3 ft x 5 ft but it will be upscale. If you think you will see the next chapter in 2 weeks, I would classify you as optimistic at best.

This ain't no laptop! With 3 HD's, 1 SSD, 2 graphics cards, and 14 memory modules, It weighs in at over 40 lbs, not including the UPS and 2 monitors. It would be more if it had wifi and bluetooth, but this was built before those new fangled contraptions.

Nope. Close but no cigar. Mac Pro Quad 1st gen with "Intel Inside" Going on 8 yrs old and better than when new, with its SSD (or flash memory) for the OS and apps. this is two weeks after my *blasted* flu. It hasn't cleared up entirely and I'm really tired all the time now. I slept 10pm to 10am this morning, it's just after 9 and It's time to pack it in for another night. The plumber comes tomorrow morning. The good news is when they demo'd, the 12" bulkhead turned out to be empty except a vent pipe which was easily re-routed. This means the inside of the shower will be 36" x 72". (definitely room for the twins too)
The bad news is that I have written only one line of the new chapter. I can't even guess when it'll be done. The only thing for sure is that I won't compromise the story for the sake of getting a new chapter out quickly. Rest assured that my filthy mind isn't taking a break!
