Swimming Naked, i.e. Skinny Dipping

It seems that through the year boys swimming naked was accepted and common place. There were covers of magazines as mainstream as the Saturday Evening Post which multiple times had summer issues with drawings of boys skinny dipping. Family movies like Walt Disney's "Pollyanna" and Readers Digests musical version of "Tom Sawyer" depicted it as a regular occurrence and no big deal. Why bother with a bathing suit - you were all guys.

By the time I was growing up it was not "mainstream" but still happened. Some of it was to do something we were not supposed to do (always made things more fun) or you had not planned on swimming so just you skinny dipped. Although it also served as a way to check each other out since all guys are curious and before the Internet the only way to see if you were "normal" was your friends.

Yeah! It was an excuse to get naked with your buds, butt not like in the locker room, or showers. It was usually outdoors. Just feeling the air on your skin, all of your skin, could be quite invigorating, and also a great excuse if anyone boned up! Since it was also a limited group, unlike all the guys in class, it also served as a bonding experience. A shared secret to be kept amongst yourselves. Not something to be discussed publicly. Something very private.
Even at scout camp, with naked guys all over the place, when we were supposed to be, later at night, when your buds would sneak out with you, and try to swim without splashing, it was even better because we weren't supposed to be doing that. (I'm also sure we never really "got away with it". The elders knew, butt never said anything.)
When I think of sheer joy, skinny dipping cums to mind! (And, I'm not even talking about all the wank sessions that followed, recalling certain specifics.)

It was very different from the locker room. In gym it was fast and functional. When skinny dipping it was relaxed and fun. And the fact we were being rebellious - breaking the rules - doing something "wrong" added to the excitement.

Getting hard in gym showers would have been embarrassing as hell. When skinny dipping we all just laughed - sure we teased the guy - but clearly all in fun. Something shared among a select group of friends.

In order to make some great stories, always get naked with your buds no matter how lame the excuse might be! Skinny dipping provides the incentive. What happens, or doesn't, is entirely up to you!
Sometimes, having been skinny dipping together, makes it that much easier to get your buds naked with you again, leading to more stories (and wank sessions).

Been to many naturist clubs and nude beaches over the years. Swimming naked gives me a wonderful sense of freedom.
