They look like Foothills because they are the Foothills.

The peaks at the center of the photo are Longs Peak and Meeker Peak, Long's Peak being 14,259 feet.

To answer the other question, yes I do. This is Mount Evans from the place were I caught the school bus to High School many, many years ago. When I was in High School, this was Willie Nelson's driveway. Yes, that Willie Nelson.

Actually, you couldn't fit a vehicle on it. St. George Street is a pedestrian street nowadays. It's old town, the tourist hot-spot (besides the beach), and where I work.

Oldest (continuously inhabited) city in the U.S., founded 1565.

You can drive to the top of Mt. Evans, too as it is North America's highest paved auto road. 14,240 feet!
