It was already dark and we were sweaty after setting up the tent. It had been a busy day driving out into the mountains, finding a secluded spot away from the family, and just goofing off like 15 yearolds do.

It was the first time Steve came up to the family lake cabin. We had been friends for awhile, abut this is the first time we had spent any time together without our other friends around, and the first time we would be tenting it.

We had planned our trip and snuck out some beer and a small joint in our backpacks.
