Anyone had the pleasure of doing this before?! Haha #-o

I walked right into it this evening. On Saturday I'll be in London to see Deadmau5, and I mentioned to my mum how it ends at 12-1AM, which I think is really early - so she asked what I'll be doing after so I said I'll be going to XXL. She said "Haven't you been there before?" so I said Yes. She got curious, but didn't really persist with the topic any further..

After a while, we moved on to NYE - I said that I'll be in London again, going to XXL (and wherever else), so she asked to see what it's like in there; photos/videos/music etc - She loves dance/house music, so was interested to see the place when I said that's all they usually play there.. What a mistake hahaha! #-o

"Why are they all mostly topless? I can see why you like it there :rolleyes:"

Oh my, it was too funny. Not awkward, just a bit odd to be talking about a Bear Club to my mum so freely. I love that I can do that, but it has made me giggle thinking about it. :lol:

Same here. Although I sometimes felt they adored my Steve more than me, but I liked it that way, although I know it wasn't really true. It always made me feel something special watching them gushing over him all the time.
 
i talk to my mom about going to the gay bars at the beach all the time. i havent ever really asked if she wanted to go out one night though. maybe i should...

My Dad had a job lined up for me at a gay bar before id finished school which I rejected cos I was apparantly 'str8' I was going to be taught to be a cellarman by a leather man named Thor then a cocktail barman, im a fucking idiot opportunities like that never come along again.

My Dad knows as much or more about the scene than I do. One comment at Mardi Gras time was 'all the gay boys would be so fucked up now onto their 6th eccy that they dont remember the party'

That apparantly the gay bar accross from his work yrs ago....gu8y would be having a beer, duck off for a fuck and return to finish their beers.

And he has to try one of those eccy things to see what all the fuss was about.

We also had a sporting sponsorship offer from the best known gay bar in Sydney and I pushed ot reject it cos I was so called satr8...Dad was keen said we would have the entire gay community behind us. In the end some telco sponsored the yacht.

I tell them all about the hot clubs and events even open aboput the drugs i dont think they can eb shocked lol

Ive also arrived home shirtless numerious times when living at home after being out clubbing and losingmy favourite shirt

Also arrived home from a big dance party with a broken ankle from benig pulled off the podium another time, wearing tight pants and a see through silver sleeveless at 8am, I was handed a beer and 2 panadience forte (painkillers)

All before I officially told them i took it up the arse
 
Heh my mom recently has been letting some of her walls drop recently (Just found out she drinks gin. I thought I was the only one in my whole family O_o)

But there is no way I could ever tell her about a gay club/bar. I half mentioned it once and she was convinced I'd get AIDS simply by walking in the place because we are all such sex fiends #-o
 
They are blissfully unaware of my clubbing/sex life and I hope itll stay that way, I do often talk with my sister about it, grudging the day she starts to go to clubs..
 
There's a gay porn channel, which you get free for two weeks if you switch to digital TV. My mum did. And promptly watched X-Mo for two hours out of curiosity.

That's months ago, and I still don't know if I should think it's cool or awkward.

Not gay clubs but we talked about straight Clubs i guess she saw something about someone getting shot at a club now she thinks all clubs are bad. She try's to give me speeches about how i shouldn't go out since the big bad world is dangerous i should just stay locked in the house all day and rot.



Sometimes she gives out lectures and it don't make any sense its just best to pretend shes right.

but that's because he's a musician, and I've never been to one.
