The Congressman released a new TV ad. today here. I am not real sure what to think as I just saw it.

He does have points to be made about the security of the Country being job one,and control of the illegals.
He just made one big point here.

Yay! Another Coloradan in the news...and whadayano? He's looney.

In this state, pretending you're a gargoyle is sane.

I had long thought that Romney was the craziest one out there right now...

But after watching this, I've change my mind.

.... the only thing we have to fear, is Tancredo himself. This commercial is a cry for help from a very disturbed person.

I hadn't formed any opinion of him as yet. Needless to say he hopes the fear card will make him more popular. I hope not!!!

What an asinine jerk. Here’s a couple blips from his campaign website:

… the state's interest in marriage is procreation. Population is power. Society needs a young generation to defend the country in battle … The mere fact that two people are in a loving relationship does not matter …

^ Tancredo's thoughts on breeding.

Gay Marriage
Federalism concerns make a constitutional amendment protecting traditional marriage an avenue of last resort, Unfortunately, intellectually dishonest activist judges have left us no choice.

Activist courts have ignored the principal legal argument that the state's interest in marriage is procreation. Population is power. Society needs a young generation to defend the country in battle, to support its programs with taxes and to carry on its culture and traditions. The mere fact that two people are in a loving relationship does not matter to the state. Society supports traditional marriage because it is the only union which, in the ordinary course, leads to children, without the intervention of a third party.
My God, the man sees 'traditional' marriage as merely a method for the state to produce more soldiers.

Following his reasoning to its logical conclusion, why not skip marriage entirely and go straight to farm breeding pens. How sick is this sumbitch?!!

Not just to produce soldiers, but "to carry on its culture and traditions". As if our "culture and traditions" are both intristically "American" and not caused by the whole "melting pot" thing we've had going on since the 1700s or so.

In short, "keep procreating, and we won't have to keep letting Jose come up north to pick our fruit."

>>>Society supports traditional marriage because it is the only union which, in the ordinary course, leads to children, without the intervention of a third party.

I love this. "Without the intervention of a third party."

(knock knock) "Uh, sirs, sorry to intrude during your bedroom time, but it's time for you to procreate. I've brought you a female to impregnate - just leave her by the door when you're done. Thank you, and God bless America."
