Tattoo Idea

So Ive been thinking about getting a tattoo not too sure where but thinking on my upper arm on the inside, as I have nice arms apparently, or near my bum as that, also I have been told, is quite nice. Also not too sure what tattoo to get. Any one got ideas to get me started? (Also, feel free to move this thread if its not in the right place)

Hey there Tommy .
Maybe it would be a good idea to maybe use google images and look through
there to see if there is something that really really grabs your attention .
You dont specify what sort of tatt , ie something tribal or something more traditional or even something which is really personal to you .
What i would say is that once you have it done buddy it is there for keeps , things
like laser removal are not only fucking so expensive they do still leave a mark .
I have a couple myself well placed and discreet because of my carreer .
I am glad i had them done as they remind me of very sentimental things .

Thanks! I've no idea what kind I want just know I want a nice small discreet one. One that can be covered up if need be.

first i would not recomend the inside of your upper arm as that is a very tender spot and if you dont know how you will react to getting a tattoo i would get one maybe on a different spot. as a person that has 11 tattoos i think they are great, but i would suggest you try your upper arm on the outside or maybe your thigh( also out side). i always suggest that someone starts off with on in a part of their body that has a lot of "meat ( dont even go there!) because if there is not a lot of padding and the artist is heavy handed it can hurt a lot. i have seen big buff bikerguys tear up when getting tats and teen age twink boys not even break a sweat. its all about your pain tolerance, where you get it and the heavy handedness of the artist.

All my tattoos are for people in my life who have died. Each one is different, some are words others numbers and another is of a bunch of birds. I don't much see the point in getting a tattoo that doesn't mean anything.

I would definitely decide on what you want first before ever making a judgement on placement. Having other people decide for you what to get is just stupid and meaningless. Sure, there's nothing wrong with suggestions or opinions, but in the end it needs to be your choice.

Best advice I can give would be to take it slooowly. Gather your thoughts (images that have meaning to you, size, color, etc.) and sleep on them. There's nothing worse than an impulsive tattoo.
