#3 is highly likely, although the better question is the scroll at top. What does "1000 NM and counting" refer to?

Yes, the nautical miles could be possible if the subject is a sailor. And, he may be the tattooist himself, which would make the Make-up Artist acronym make sense.

I had orginally viewed it and wondered if it was some kind of memorial tattoo for his mother, and the NM was some Latin abbreviation for prayers for the dead, but couldn't find anything supporting that. Just thought the swallows and the rays from the heart reminded one of the Lady of Guadaloupe and Sacred Heart icon imagery, and I thought I had seen swallows used in that style in memorial imagery for dead mothers, etc.

LOL. "her"?
My Mom and Dad were both pretty conservative and old fashioned. Mom more than Dad. Every once in a while Mom would get a mischievous streak that would come out.

I remember her telling a story of the two of them taking a nap while homemade bread was rising in the kitchen. My Mom said to my Dad that the bread should be rising by now. And my Dad replied "Honey that's not the only thing rising!"

And one time Mom was drying soup bowls by hand in the kitchen and she said "Look Honey I found a new way to dry the soup bowls!"

She would drape the kitchen towel on one of her large breasts and put the bowl on her breast like using a citrus juicer and twist back and forth.

They both died in the 90s but these two corny stories make me smile still today.

"1000 NM and counting" refers to 'torque'.

Torque is a multiplication of force with distance, a torque of 100Nm means a force of 100 Newtons applied at a distance of 1 metre from the axis of rotation.

On the hand, #18 could be a proud whore from Albuquerque announcing he's had 1000 men from New Mexico and counting.

The guys who wrote the fables about Jesus?
