Tattoos.....Hot or Not?

I ask this because whenever a pic of a guy with tats, whether it be one or many seems to get a mix of answers regarding whether they are hot or not. I have several myself, I plan to get more. Your answers will be interesting , not that they will change my opinion. So lets hear it.
 
Like any art, the subject matter and the quality of the design decide for me if they're hot or not. I think they can be very sexy if the artist was of any quality at all.

Sometimes, however, a person doesn't wear them well even if the they're well done. Ink can truly enhance one person's attractiveness, but detract from another's.
 
No. Body graffiti is not hot.

In 20 years whatever graffiti you get will be hopelessly outdated and will not only be not hot it will look completely stupid.

JMO, it's your body.
 
you're right killjoke, I've seen some bad ink out there, and I want to ask them...what the hell were you thinking. You know it's going to be permanent, why would you not find a good artist to do it correctly
 
I've seen yours, and I like them! Not everyone can wear them well. I don't really go for the 'sleeves' though.
 
I hate it when a guy has like a whole leg, arm, torso, etc. tattooed. I generally think they're tacky, but it depends on the subject and some of them can be really cool. I don't think it makes a guy more or less attractive though.

The big problem is what the tattoo you get in your 20's looks like in your 60's.

While that is an interesting tattoo Vanti I'll bet those guys in the 40's didn't think their tattoo of Betty Boop would get outdated either. But you're right for what you want. It's where I'm coming from. A lot of things I loved in my 20's I think are just wrong for me now and I'm glad they're not immortalized on my arm (or elsewhere).

By the way, don't they make temporary tattoos that you can apply and then change as your taste and the culture changes?

For me, it becomes a problem when you can't see the person for the tattoos. Decorations should enhance the body. . . not hide it.

I hope they are hot, ive got six of them. The Autobots (1) and Decepticons (2) insignia, a fleure-de-lys (3), a pentagram (4), two opposing crescents (5) and a hammer and sickle(6).
 
I have thought alot about each one that I've got. They all mean something to me personally, not just some flash art I picked out of a book at a tacky parlor
