I actually love his ink. It's REALLY good work - clean, symmetrical, tasteful and consistent. And it looks awesome

I couldn't have it myself though, (a) because it's too big a commitment and (b) there's NO way i'd survive all the sittings, especially around the stomach and groin areas where it's sensitive.

size? 2" diameter

bigger than i imagined - tried to get the tattoo guy to go smaller and he says "u don't want it smaller - why do it at all?"

he's been doing this for 22 years - good guy - did a good job - he has a place in astoria

my bf's buddy has had several tattoos done by him soooooooooooo

it kinda hurt - and it stings a bit

but i like it

An acquaintance of mine (far younger than me) just got one. The tattoo in question.

I said nothing last Saturday upon seeing it, but a fellow bar patron did (who, BTW, has said tattoo and IS aware of the 'meaning').

The conversation ended in tears.

I have no idea of the outcome.

My hip tattoo when I got it...I have another tattoo in Russian cyrillic on my forearm: 'Патетическая' but I didn't have a discrete photo of it to post.

I don't like tattoos i dont like having anything permanent on my body. I don't mind a small Tattoo but if over tattooing is a major turn off i don't see anything pretty about marking up your body with ink even if has a meaning. Get an iron on t-shirts

i am thinking of getting one

have thought about it for a while now - gonna do it

thinking something simple - perhaps a shamrock - not too big

the question is where to put it

have gotten a few suggestions like :

back - upper back on one of the sides
ankle
calf
upper arm area above the bicep/tricep area
hip - side of body
front torso - below the belly button to the side - above the jewels

leaning towards arm or leg

would love any thoughts u have - if u have one - what u think etc.

Ah, well man... if I were to get a tattoo I'd get a shamrock.
I'm not Irish but I've visited Ireland, loved it so much.
And my best buddies have Irish heritage.

But dude.... why mar a beautifu body (as i figure you have) with a bunch of ink?
Makes no sense to me.

But if you are going to do it, well I'd have it placed on your right buttock.

Why get glasses/contacts?
Why cut your nails?
Why get braces?
Why brush your teeth or hair?
Why wear clothes?
Why use soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion?
