Good changes? How is uni and work?

My biggest news is probably that I'm totally out now. I came out to my parents in february and then to everyone else a few weeks ago when I went home to Tassie. feels great :)
 
Yeah mostly good changes, was sick with the flu for about a month so I still haven't been to the gym and in that time I've been eating more junk food... Work is going alright and I took this semester off uni, might transfer to a different degree.

I read about that a little while ago, That's really great :D
 
Ah that sucks man. the hardest part of coming out of a flu is getting back into the swing though. I've had to work out a bit more lately, when I went home mum almost literally didn't stop feeding me, I put on a few XD.

Must be nice to have a break and reassess. Did you find you weren't enjoying what you were doing as much as you had hoped? or just making a change?

And thanks. To be honest I'm a little bummed that I'm running out of people to tell haha. its a bit of a rush :lol:
 
I've been saying "tomorrow" or "starting monday" for atleast two weeks now.

I wasn't enjoying it as much as I was, so I've been stuck in that "what am I going to do with myself / what can I do / etc" phase for a little bit.
 
Haha, the ol' starting monday. All it takes is the one session to break in. you can do it ironlegs ;)

And I know how that feels. I'm coming up on a year at my current job. Starting to think I should get back into design, but im afraid I've been out of it for too long to be relevant. and I know I don't wanna be doing this forever.

Any ideas on what you wanna do? or still feeling a bit lost?
 
Wow it would be coming up to a year, time has flown pretty quickly. I'm sure if it's what you want to do you can get back in to it in no time!

I've thought of the age old I.T but on the whole still a bit lost.
 
Do something you enjoy man. We put so much stock into the 'rest of our lives'. Sometimes I feel like I've wasted the past couple of years by not going to uni or being more constructive. And I think the idea that decisions will effect the rest of our lives is what makes it so hard to choose what we wanna do with ourselves.

But then I take a step back. I've been enjoying life. I'll have interesting stories from when I was a lifeguard, or when I moved to the goldcoast. I could go Back to uni at any time if I wanted. I could faff about for the next few years and it wouldn't matter because I can make a change when I want to.

Find what makes you happy, Just take your time, Its more important that you enjoy it than spend it achieving something that ultimately you dont want.

(sorry I may be projecting a bit of what im feeling into this 'advice')
