Tea Or Coffee ?

My morning wouldn't be the same without my first two cups of Early Grey. Coffee thereafter, unless I want to dunk a biscuit (McVities Digestives only), then it's back to tea.

I use to drink morning coffee also, but not anymore. I had to give it up because of palpitations. I drink a lot of decaffeinated green tea during the winter and fall. Occasionally, I will fix a cup of decaffeinated instant coffee. I miss the taste.

Coffee. When I drink tea, it has to be iced tea.

Coffee, usually, brewed in my Proctor-Silex drip coffeemaker. This week I'm drinking Martinson traditional, but when it runs out I have a can of Melitta Colombian Supreme on hand. Melitta's coffee factory is in Cherry Hill, NJ, just off Interstate 295, and they make the best air pollution ever. It smells wonderful passing by there.

Tea. Almost hardly ever drink Coffee though. More of a milk person to be exact.

100% Colombian coffee beans ground fresh as needed in a grinder that uses two plates to crush the beans not one of those "blender" blade types. [-X It heats up the beans and they lose flavor.

Use bottled or filtered water. Tap water contains chlorine which will taste and smell in coffee.

Do not store beans in fridge or freezer. The moisture in fridge/freezer is bad for the coffee. Do not store them in air tight containers, the beans need to expel gases. Store them in a dark cupboard in their original bag. It's designed to let gases out but not let air in. Just fold over the top a couple times and clamp with a bag clip.

Coffee must be drank within 90 minutes of brewing. Otherwise, throw it out and make some fresh.

Do not drink coffee out of styrofoam or plastic cups. It will taste of styrofoam or plastic.

I'll have this please, two teaspoons of coffee & two of sugar with a liberal allowance of milk. Many thanks.

Tea! I've started drinking a mixture of green and black tea.

Tea is my mainstay, coffee on the rare occasion.

I start the day with 3 cups of coffee before I go to work, I drink 4 or 5 more there and come to finish the day up with 4 or 5 more cups of coffee.
I drink a store brand and drink it black, I like my cream on the side..|

WHere is tea drinker btw?

Oh...for me some hot Darjeeling in a few minutes with lots of milk and sugar and brewed strong as well. Old habits die hard...

Coffee.

The moment I get out of bed, I head directly to the kitchen to boil the water. I buy the 2 1/2 pound bag of Starbucks French Roast at Costco. It's bang for the buck. I use a coffee press. A little bit of milk or half and half, and I'm good to go.

Dark Roast strong black coffee...and I drink it cold.....probably a cup a day...

Iced Tea...again strong and black...no sugar or lemon or flavors (barf)

Green or Peppermint Tea sometimes at night.

I absolutely love the smell of coffee in the morning, but if I drink it on an empty stomach I tend to feel a little uneasy afterward.

I drink it when I take an hour or so to catch up with a friend, but outside of that, when I want a warm beverage, it's tea all the way. :)

Every morning put beans in grinder , sound and smell starts to open my eyes , then into the Old Expresso (english spelt) machine
put on hob , then while you wait that SMELL just does it for me .

3 cups (tiny) and i am about ready to go , heightsbois post pretty much sums it up..............|

Totally agree with this. Instant??? what are you guys thinking???

(not that I'm a coffee snob or anything...)

Not a big coffee drinker, and almost never really strong ones. I'll take a frap as a pick-me-up if I need one.
As for tea: lemon tea or barley tea or any iced tea really. Even the fluffy weak fruity Snapple ones. :p
