Oh, that's embarrassing as hell.See I won't wander into a Hollywood/comic/blockbuster movie these days unless someone I trust reassures me it's very very speshal. And yeah, I can't stand the insipid female roles. I loved Ebert when he pointed out in The Matrix and The 5th Element how the female lead gets this whole badass introduction only to be shuttled off to the side into 'love interest/damsel in distress' purgatory.

Yes yes and yes! Ms Marvel features a lesbian superhero and, per representation, is getting rave reviews for its presentation of its pakistani-american lead and even reaching into south asian history in the storytelling. Captain marvel is another lesbian lead and there are LGBT side characters like Valkyrie in Thor. And Dr Strange 2 introduced, I know it's redundant at this point, a lesbian teen and her lesbian mothers. Off the top of my head I can't think of any male characters except in Endgame where a guy talked about his date for 3 seconds. OH I FORGOT! Eternals had a gay lead that was married with a kid, I believe the movie was banned somewhere for the couple kissing. I'm excited about our growing presence in cinema, even while more cynical activists believe Marvel is only giving us space so long as it doesnt impact their profits which is probably true but somethin is better than nothin.

Somebody PLEASE spill some tea. Papa Bear is kneedeep in the kitchen remodel so I'm not getting any attention, I refuse to go back to work with polio making a comeback and I've watched literally everything there is to watch on all the streaming services.

I've got some lukewarm tea that's not really tea, Ray-J, Kim Kartrashian's costar in her sex tape, spilled ALL the tea that we already knew that her mother and her helped orchestrate the release of the tape. The only update is that he actually provided receipts via text messages and the actual contracts that they all signed with the company that released the tape. And we got some cringe-inducing details on the actual making of the tape, that Kris wanted them to re-shoot it and watched the tapes and decided on the first one because it "made her look better." (Better? That tape was boring as all get-out). Anyway there HAS to be some juice some scandal somewhere in the world right now so SPILL IT.

mentioning the P word in my house of dragons thread reminded me about some serious tea concerning (you'll remember him if you're my age) Aries Spears and Tiffany Haddish AKA the Mammy of Hollywood. They're being sued by a mother on behalf of her children who allege they were groomed and abused during the filming of a skit so cringe I almost had to turn it off were it not for me giving them a fair chance to defend it as a legit comedy sketch/PSA about child sexual abuse and lemme tell ya, IT IS BAD. It really comes across as child sexual abuse material thinly disguised as comedy. Although the video is hosted on youtube allegedly as a comedy, twitter is pulling anyone who shares it and for good reason.

The premise of the "skit" is Tiffany plays a single mother living her best life so she keeps asking her brother, played by Aries, to watch her son. I'm gonna try not to vomit as I tell you how it plays out. Each time she leaves them alone sensual R Kelly (yes, THAT R Kelly) songs play in the background as Aries visibly lusts after the child who is in underwear and rolling around on the ground, at one point simulating a sex act with a toy train. Long story short the story continues with the child taking a bath and I'm just gonna stop there cuz I just ate and I'm tryna keep my food down.

Well I'd like to see these two clowns are cancelled because there's no excuse for this kind of material to be filmed and I wouldn't doubt that the spirit of this skit was less "Be aware of who you leave your kids with" (their claim) and more Epstein vibes. I hope they aren't able to recover from this, they really don't deserve to be working anymore and that's coming from someone who watches Family Guy, South Park and the like that regularly feature crass humor about kids but in a totally different format. I used to be an Aries fan he was hilarious on MadTV, never cared for Tiffany she's a walking minstrel act. good riddance to both of these losers. Here's hoping the brother, sister and mom get some justice and definitely some counseling. If you care about children, don't support anything from him or her in the future.
