i would think that if the teacher resigned for the reasons stated, the school district might be obligated under educational codes to report such an incident to the state board of education and to the department that issues teaching credentials.

if the allegations prove to be true, i would think that possibly the teachers' teaching credentials could be at risk.

why someone would make such films, then go through all the effort and expense to get one's teaching credentials and think that such films might not come to light is beyond me.

i just don't get it. what was the man thinking at any stage of this tragic story?

What the man did in his private life should not matter, as long as he was not trying to hit on any of his students.
It sounds like he pissed off the wrong person, and they knew how to get revenge.

If it was the teacher, then it's NO ONE else's business unless he begins to make moves on students.

As for why he did it, college is expensive.

Well, first of all, if he did do those videos he's now lying about it:

“I can not believe what I am reading and neither should anyone else,” the teacher on leave said in an e-mail to KHOU. “I take this very seriously and deny the validity of this supposed tip."

I think liars shouldn't be teachers. We have a big enough problem with lying today as it is. Kids need role models who tell the truth and take responsibility for their actions.

Secondly, although there's nothing wrong with doing porn in my opinion, if I'd had a high school teacher who'd done porn it would have been distracting and a little weird for me. I think it might be that way for a lot of high school kids -- especially straight kids with a teacher who'd done gay porn. Whether or not that's "right," it's certainly relevant.

And finally, it's interesting that so many young adults allow --or even post themselves-- naked and sexual images of themselves on the Internet without seeming to care they instantly lose all control of those images. Or behave like whores and then get upset if someone points out they're a whore. Despite the silly "dicipline" routine that modern parents call "consequences," a swath of this generation seems to have totally missed the real concept that actions have consequences.

We could not independently confirm the teacher is the wrestler though pictures of the two appear similar.

For that reason, 11 News chose not to identify him.

If the teacher is innocent, then khou would risk a challenge of defamation, therefore it would not name him. But, it is often easy to slur and slander and get away with stuff...

What can I say? That is a part of Texas that even boy george has been accused of raping a woman and then when the woman tried to go public she became dead.

Now before you attack, I did say "accused" and I did not say he was responsible for her death.
