What cell, tablet, lap and desktop would you recommend to anyone who does not game or need fancy pixels, and does not work in a very "graphic" business..?

This one is highly rated. It also has a built in can opener, swiss army knife and space to store popcorn butter.

^ That is not even an all-in-one, which didn't even explictly ask for (but was implied in "desktop" )

I shouldn't joke. I'll be needing similar advice soon.

Plenty of folks like Dell. From the Dell store. Even refurbs are fine. Not from Costco or Sam's, those are strippers.

I recommend sticking with what you have.

But I do not "need", so you are free to joke as much as you please

I'm just curious about the wide world out there, outside my own leanings, interests and more or less real needs

That's what I have been doing for over five years in some cases, in some other even more. 2017, 2019 cell, 2017 desk, fucking old tablet (SM-P905... could not even find a sleeve for it when I went for it after deciding that I was giving it wide use, ocassionally away from home), and lap not that old, but can not even remember how much.

I have been streamlining my "tangible" possessions, so not sure whether it is worth it to make renovations now that we are entering the new century, with the new era, maybe new paradigms... of course, we may still have the rest of the decade to trail on.... but... I am still deciding whether I should care much, which is a decision in itself, isn't it

^^ Ok, if Dell isn't a thing on your side of the Atlantic, there must be similar. Maybe The Register has a review section.

^ No, I meant that Dell is not a default thing this side of the looking pond... Costco is definitely a no-thing. Sam's is not even an 'is'

^ You mean like Mediamarkt, Carrefour, ECI, Apple, Bauhaus, Ikea... wait, those two do not sell electronics... do they?

my workhorse laptop is the Dell Envy.
