My opinion isn't based on the perecption of recollection. It is based on what and HOW certian things were said to me in PMs, on various topics by posters on this thread, in particular by one poster on this thread who claimed to be close to Andreus. He revealed Andreus' MI. I was very recently approached one here by the exact same MI. :nono:

I can tell you I've been hit on, argued with, put upon for money, small-talked, fast-talked….and I don't think I've ever heard an original story in a long time.

This thread has so far revealed more to me about pettiness and paranoia from a number of directions than any "MI" about past JUBbers. I await something substantive.

I would love to be as indignant as everyone here about being duped; I'm not big on letting bygones be bygones when people fake their deaths, and I wouldn't think just because it's the internet that it furnishes some kind of excuse for that.

I just don't see where that occurred. Most of this "Andreus is fake" diatribe is just nakedly wishful thinking, wrapped in a sense of entitlement on the part of those who feel that to accuse is to prove.

What little has been proffered in the way of proof seems astonishingly flimsy. At least in the open thread. If people have something more substantive in their private messages they should a) not be astonished that the rest of us aren't buying something we've never seen b) consider posting it as proof of Code of Conduct violations on the part of a former/current member. Last I checked, multiple simultaneous accounts are not allowed. Or c) at the very least forward any such information to a moderator; private messages are also subject to moderation and to the code of conduct.

Other than that, the only stuff I've read in the open thread has all the integrity required to convict a witch at Salem.

Until someone comes forward with some actual evidence, this strikes me as a very tasteless and cavalier offence against the memory of a real person, and against the integrity of those who knew him online or in the real world.
 
Boy, I just went through all this thread and what a soap opera.

I lurked on LMAO, (that's before JUB, young'uns) and got on JUB with JR the owner, and many others, I think in 2003 or there abouts. Could have been 2002.

My first contact was with a Jubber names Michael Luc I think, and then Hooded Rat. Hoody at the time had several small furry friends and explained to me what was involved in raising them.

If memory serves me right, Michael left for a mail related job and I see Hoody is still here.

Yes I knew Dreu from reading his posts and exchanging PM's with him a few times. His death was a very real loss to me. After reading all the thread, I don't believe it was a sham.

If it was... well I got taken.... Some of the older Jub members will remember the guy who had servants, and cars etc..... then got caught in his lies. That one went on for a good while.

Oh yes, JUB has seen quite a few.

I will continue to read HT as often as I can and still enjoy all the dramas.

No I am not Andreu ;)
