Tennis gets ugly - Serena not so serene

She may have lost her nerve and snapped, but she at least remained calm after being penalized the point. She said, "Are you serious?" But upon getting the word, she simply walked away, moving over to shake her opponent's hand.

Yes she did threaten to kill the line judge. Sure she never said,"i will kill you," but she said she is going to take the tennis ball and shove it down her throat and stick this racket so far up her ass she would be spitting up sweet and sour chicken.

Not many people could survive that attack so technically it was a threat on her life.

Serena also dropped the the F bomb 5 times.

CBS played the entire thing but you could still here the F word through the beeps.

just another spoiled brat. she said on tv that she didnt have a foot fault all year so why would she do it now? huh? she obviously did it. she made the entire situation worse by running off at the mouth.

^^^Actually a lot of commentators are saying the call was a bad one. And apparently line judges at major tournaments usually cut the players some slack on foot faults.

Anybody can lose their temper, but I think she recovered very well. She really doesn't have a heck of a lot to prove at this point.

I saw it on the news earlier, apparently she threatened to shove a tennis ball into someone's throat.

Hardly the first professional sportsperson, or even tennis player, to have a bit of a fit. *coughcoughjohnmcenroecoughcough*

Cut her some slack. Just because she's in the public eye she's not allowed to have a bad day?

... but she said she is going to take the tennis ball and shove it down her throat and stick this racket so far up her ass she would be spitting up sweet and sour chicken....

>>>her little temper tantrum cost her the championship. she def needs a chill pill and maybe a little humility too.

It was match point against. That doesn't mean she COULDN'T have come back and won, but the odds were REALLY heavily stacked against her. It simply ended the match on a rather surreal note.

Oh hell yeah! My girl Serena went project on that broad! It happens. It is what it is.

>>>what temper tantrum? What happened?

Yeah, the OP really should've posted a video clip or something. :)

And don't believe Karen - she's been hitting the medicinal bottle a bit more frequently as of late. Serena actually yelled at Obama during his speech, shouting "You lie!" when Obama said that the new health care platform wouldn't be sucked dry by illegal immigrants.
