But I had a meal! Ang just ONE margarita at Las Velas. My favorite downtown Pittsburgh Mexican restaurant.

Guess tequila messes me up. Bad.

I'm sober again. I'm rather surprised I managed to take the bus from downtown Pittsburgh back to my Airbnb in Morningside successfully.

And I was planning on going out my last night in Pittsburgh. But I was wasted! Thought I'd nap ..and woke up to a thunderstorm. Probably good I didn't get out.

The old phone flew out of my hand Saturday morning in the company van, hit something hard on the console, and cracked, never to turn on again. It was emitting beeps upon receiving notifications and texts...but wouldn't come on.

I wanted to keep that number. But between the phone being unusable and forgetting my stored Gmail password, it was an endless loop.
 
Hello from Illinois! I had a successful flight to Chicago's Midway Airport this morning, and had chilaquiles at the New Archway Restaurant at 35th & Archer on the South Side. I don't want to think about food for a while. So filling.

Hi from Chicago! I'm sitting on the terrace at Home2Suites overlooking Huron Ave. I'm enjoying a coffee. I'll soon be off to Northalsted Market Days, the fabulous annual street fair in Chicago's gayborhood.
The weather is gorgeous. 73° F and sunny.
 
Still in Chicago through Saturday. Went gambling at Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, unsuccessfully. Went shopping, very successfully. Bought a new jockstrap and very short turquoise shorts. Those were the two items on my list (well, the shorts didn't HAVE to be turquoise and I was considering tan or Barbie pink...but they HAD to be short). Went drinking (three beers at two different bars). I think I'm done for the day. Such a night owl, not.

The ball game yesterday? The Royals beat the Cubs, 4-3. Only one home run, by the Royals' Bobby Witt, Jr.

I'm not working anymore. After a debacle August 8, a week away helped me realize I'm ill-suited fir the job. So goodbye.

I'm actually home! But I plan to spend the week after Labor Day at the Jersey Shore. No surfer boy lined up for company, though. Yet.
