Thad1527 Appreciation Thread

Thursday's game was a surprise. The last-place Sharks beat the Blues 5-1.
The Blues had the skills...great skating, passing, puck control. But no ability to petition in the net.
The Sharks took advantage of the Blues' #2 goalie and forced him out, to be replaced by their #1 Jordan Binnington, who did much better.

Tonight I see the Blues in LA. I'll be rooting for the Kings, who are quite talented and off to a good start.

After Thursday's game I went to Renegades bar in San Jose, but it was a "special" night and too kinky for me. One beer and I was out. I know SOME of you think I'm kinky. I am NOT. Shameless, sex-positive, cuddly, yes.

I thought I was miles from the action. But it wasn't so bad.

I didn't miss a thing.
Another 5-1 Blues loss. What are the odds?

Note the THREE levels of luxury boxes. Only in L.A

Glad that you are having a good time. It sounds like you will be traveling in the Thanksgiving travel rush before you return home. Hope that the rest of your trip is as enjoyable.

Happy Thanksgiving, Thad! (*8*)

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself in SOCAL, and getting some good hockey in. I'm sure Las Vegas is going to be a real trip, especially considering all the degrees of unreality they keep introducing out there. And sometimes it's good to do something on a holiday besides feasting and stuffing yourself surrounded by all the relatives you're supposed to love.

Thank you for the good wishes!

I enjoyed the brunch buffet at the Riverside Resort in Laughlin, Nevada today. They had breakfast AND lunch foods out and I had both. The dining room overlooks the Colorado River (pic 1). I may go back tomorrow. It costs $16.25.

Staying here until Sunday, then Vegas, baby!

Good Saturday morning, Thad! (*8*)

That view of the Colorado River in Nevada looks lovely. Enjoy it now, before the river dries up.

You should have a great time in Las Vegas. They've got so many attractions there, and of course, there's the casinos. Whatever you do, you shouldn't be bored, that's for sure!

Good Saturday afternoon, Thad! (*8*)

It's been a few days since you posted, I hope that means you've been having a great time on your trip. Let us know how it went when you get a chance.

Hi Thad!
I'm exhausted just reading about all your travels. You must be a very energetic person!
I hope you enjoy this time at home planning your next adventures :)

Good Sunday evening, Thad! (*8*)

I take it you're having a quiet weekend, after everywhere you went on your last trip. Lots of exciting places, and when you stopped posting I figured you were just too into what you were doing to give us daily reports. After all, would you prefer to see the sites, or be busy taking pictures to show everybody? I'm sure you had a lot of fun.

It was a good quiet weekend. I did spend $45 at Lidl, so there's plenty to eat here.

I was too early for the two big grand openings in Las Vegas. I'll probably never go to the Fontainebleau; all the "celebrities" at the "opening" make me think it's NOT for me. But the Durango is reportedly gorgeous and I want to go. It's far from the Strip, another point in its favor.
